Damn, you really went crazy with the models for this video. I am really excited and if there will be player made airfields, I will build one of these no matter the cost. Just imagine constant planes flying in and out refuelling and rearming. The aircraft carrier would be a really nice idea too. A new ship for naval would be really nice. Oh and one last thing. yeah, when I was sick I couldn't render or animate, but I could model a bit on my old laptop. The models kind of piled up by the time I could think straight again :D Thanks, 10K is crazy T_T and that LoM video better be popping off, excluding gameplay that video took me almost 50 hours to make, I had no free time or sleep HAHAHAHA

I think theres a huge shift coming map has to be expanded x2 to fit this stuff they have said they want the entire backround map to be playable so maybe.
I just hope planes won't be 100% locked behind Facilites. At least 1 plane or flying vehicle being refined mats would be enough to make it accessible for solo players.
would be cool if they added little dinky trainer planes that just has small guns, that probably would be enough for solos to play around with in the less active areas of the map
There's gonna be ENTIRE clans based around pilots, bombers, etc. They're gonna have artwork, callsigns, hell it wouldn't surprise me if they came up with goddamn code. Foxhole is going to go INSANE with a new form of play.
Imagine if they had close air support a weaker and faster bomber (They probably have it just not shown off) and it could be like the stuka, having a horn sound before obliterating you

I just got into foxhole recently and have been binging through your videos the past few days. Love the animations and the way you're able to tell a story in a lot of your other videos while also highlighting some of the most fun parts of foxhole. Each vid I watch gets me hyped to play the game, great stuff!
Aircraft Carriers in Foxhole??? I would really like to see a Callahan refit into a Battle Carrier though. (Kinda like IJN Ise and IJN Hyuga) Also I really love your Animation. Best in the community, easily.
That was my first thought too! Now that we have aviation to assist with naval escorts, an aircraft carrier would be a natural progression. That would be wild as fuck

Some anti-air options at least for emplacements, the wardens would definitely have the anti-infantry emplacement because it’s basically an anti-aircraft flak cannon used to turn infantry into ground beef, and they could perhaps have a secondary mode that can be used to target aircraft. For the colonials, I actually think having the Hades nest placement as an anti air option would be really interesting, as it was based off of a British designed anti-aircraft missile system called the Z battery that was being used during the blitz and also it would give a reason for its use, as I’ve never really seen it being used anywhere. I’m pretty sure the half tracks could definitely be outfitted with an anti-aircraft Cannon of some kind, I’m just not sure if it’s going to be AI, or players are gonna have to figure out how to hit planes from the top down perspective. I’m certain there would to be an AI defense structure if the devs can’t figure out how to make the aa gun usable for players. Though since this is a big update, I would not be surprised if they would add two super units that are involved with the aircraft update, they could likely just do the easy option of giving both factions aircraft carriers, but I actually think they might try to include an airship carrier, these airships obviously weren’t used in a real war(they couldn’t never really figure out how to resupply and get the aircraft back into the airship safely in flight), but they have prototypes and they were tested by America in the inter war period, and since Foxhole takes a lot of inspiration from that era, I think it would be easy to fit in. But how would it work? Well, I have an idea, make it an aerial long hook. in which you have it be a spawn point for pilots, the aircraft(mostly fighters, and perhaps a transport plane or a glider) would be built on the airship, but they would be on a timer similar to the landing craft of the long hook(or can only land on the airship itself) but unlike the landing craft, they can be repaired and refueled by the airship with some type of landing implement(perhaps a long runway on the bottom) and storage space(perhaps a pulley system for resupplies), given its vast potential range and large frame(it would cast a vast shadow on the ground, but only aircraft and aa guns can hit it), I would think that this ship would be used in supporting naval battles, landings and other types of operations but be behind the frontlines as this airship would be incredibly fragile. it would likely have 2 AI aa guns on it, but it would likely not help you very much. I would think the normal aircraft carrier would likely function the same way or similarly but be a lot more tougher than the airship but possess far less operational range and containing more space for planes than the airship. But then comes the question of who would receive the airship carrier, I think there are many arguments for both wardens and colonials to receive it but in my opinion, I think the wardens should be the ones to receive this super unit, as I believe the warden’s ww1 aesthetic of form over function, quality over quantity(they like to use older technology in an interesting new way and also the designers are given a lot more leeway and time to design their machines)approach, and the colonials aesthetically are more World War II oriented in their design philosophy being far more pragmatic in their approach to Vehicle design, believe it just fits better mechanically wise and lore wise for it to be a warden exclusive.
Imagine creating a partisan force and getting aerial air drops in certain points. You could sustain a constant sabotage operation. Especially if you can somehow get far back.
i have a question How will planes manage to cross the borders? Will it be a completely open map or will we hit the invisible border and wait for 5 seconds?
ohhh I forgot to talk about that. It was in my notes and everything. Planes waiting in place at a border would be funny, but I have a feeling that we might have to package them before crossing borders.... we'll just have to wait and see.
I would imagine the plane just runs into the border and keeps flying till if you decide to attempt a turnaround or teleport. But don’t know if the vehicle will act like every vehicle if it just start at zero speed or the developers will attempt to keep aircraft at the original speed it was at when teleporting. But that assuming if the developer allow you to travel between areas with aircraft flying
No one, no one asked the question how it would look? For an isometric game, it is somehow visually impossible. I can't imagine aviation in Foxhole, it has to be terribly casual to work.

Other typers of planes that also can be added: CAS(Close air support): Basically dive bombers, which can hit a single target like ships, tanks or a bank base, and on the same note, Torperdies can also be a subclass of CAS, instead of a bomb just being a torpedo, trying to hit ships, depth charges to anti-submarines missions.(maybe even drop sea mines too👀) Interceptors/Heavy figthers: Different from figthers, they sacrifice mobility to have more fire power, they migth be excellent agest bombers or transport planes, but due to low speed they migth be unable to win a dogfigth agest a figther. Scout Planes: No armament, but as long its on the air, it can work a watch tower, sending imformation to someone who has a radio, and helping in any operation
Well the devs did say that they didn't show everything they're working on in the trailer, although I kind of hope that if we do get torpedo planes, they're a little weaker than the submarine torpedoes, otherwise submarine use would fall right through the floor lol If we do get scout planes, I wonder if we'll end up using the actual carrier search patterns from WW2 :o
@@BlueLaminate I hope we get some late war jets, rocket interceptors, and late game jet bombers and b29 equivalents. Loitering interceptors as you suggested is what is done IRL where interceptors have long flight times and long range missiles.
@@Monarch_GNSG i'd think stuff like heavy bombers or jet bombers might not be around anytime soon, those things have ludicrous range and fire power after all. if the bomber shown is already long ranged it would be really hard to balance with the current state of the game
I’m pragmatically excited for planes, I like the idea but I’d hate to see a repeat of naval where one faction (colonials) gets a straight up better option for a few wars until they finish the other faction’s version… It was such a pain playing as wardens when collies unlocked the destroyer, it was just a light battleship that couldn’t be countered on sea and even by land it was a pain to try and man a 150 long enough to kill it before it inevitably blew up the pallets with 4 rapid fire 120s… I fear the bomber will be the next destroyer if they go through with the whole “one faction gets a neat killer tool and the other faction gets the version used to stop it” and be a absolute pain to deal with, I imagine waking up in the morning as every mid sized regi to see everything bombed out at their fac building their one battle tank that took them 3 weeks to get because night time raids will be stupidly common if wardens don’t get their own bomber to counter cripple the collie rear
Well, during the devstream they said that the trailer didn't show everything "if you didn't see something for your faction, don't worry there's a lot more to come and we don't want to start any big controversies over why one side didn't get what - at least yet" So I'm hoping both sides at least get a bomber & fighter. I need that colonial fighter :D
Something i am verh interested in is that if they add cargo planes and you can parachute your supplies if your surrounded how will the cargo be affected by the wind when it is falling down for example if the wind is too strong will the cargo land further than the expectee drop point and end up in the enemy base
Imagine at night time, with everything else happening in a tight fight, and theres fcken AA guns, lighting up the sky, will be intense, even more louder hahaha
Well, currently the freighters have zero kinds of armament, so they can't deal with gunboats attacking them, let alone airplanes. Maybe we'll get some freighter upgrades with this update >:D
One thought came to me, is that one team or another is absolutely gonna pull a Market Garden and drop loads of infantry but be unable to be relief them
The issue with air is that it will instantly become the most important domain to control and completely shift how wars are fought in Foxhole to a more strategic scale. It will also overwhelmingly benefit large and active regiments, because they will be the only ones that can produce and field large numbers of planes. Foxhole is loosely based on WW2, and that wasn't won by soldiers in trenches. It was won by mass bombing raids on industrial centers.
Well, if there's anything I've learned from late game foxhole: The big clans usually need masses of randos for their big pushes anyway :D *hoping to score some free planes*
My day job is a flight instructor and as someone that has hopped in and out of foxhole over the years its pulling me right back in. I will say keeping it semi realistic would be a good idea. Or else this is going to turn into top down war thunder very quickly. If people walk in, spend all this time building their fighter, then crash it instantly, it’ll keep new players from really using it too often and leave it to large groups with trained foxhole pilots to master. I also think it will make those large ass battleships pretty useless. Take the Bismark for example. One of the biggest strongest most powerful battleships in WW2, and died because a single biplane with a single torpedo took out its rudder turning it into a turkey in a turkey shoot. Ground attack airplanes should also be a must, something similar to the IL2, will move frontlines so much faster. It’ll help break the tide of things like bridge battles where all you would have to do is just launch a ground attack over and blow up half of the bunkers. Recon airplanes would also be pretty cool. It could be the only airplane you could switch to first person in. Finally keep out aircraft carriers, they would be too strategically op. Keep the fuel capacity of the airplanes very limited as well. So taking airfields becomes vital.
tbh i don't think battleships would become obselete because of the healthpool, them having more aa and as you saw in war 117 using them as off shore bombardment. i think aircraft carriers would actually be a good thing let's take the naval invasion in war 117 what if colonials had the planes well wardens would have had it be way harder but with a carrier the wardens also could use airplanes. what i think they should do is make the carrier to be the same as a super heavy (SH opposed to other tanks in cost to build). but i'm on board with the ground attack planes like the thunderbolt, stuka and the IL2.

I’m hoping there is some imbalance in what types of aircraft each faction has, like the colonials getting a large bomber alongside a short ranged dog fighter whilst the wardens could get a form of dive bomber alongside their fighter-bomber
addition of planes genuinely would shake up the late game meta alot, the potential for bombers to be a side grade of heavy arty that's a bit more safe, consistent, and flexible but lighter hitting and require more coordination may shake up the late game to be more mobile and not revolve around fire bases as much
Air Traffic Control will be interesting on each of the Air Fields. Gonna need a grounds team and work heavily with Logi to get replacements and even defenses to protect the airfield along side enemy Patricians using the parachutes to get behind lines to hit Logi and more. So Watchtowers will be more vital and people will be needing to watch the Map even more. The LARP / RP will be funny on ATC Radio or even funny Take Off Talks to the Paratroopers hahahahaha
Hi Laminate. Don't know if you remember the 340th from Base Sagitta many wars ago. I showed up briefly in that video. It wasn't clear at the time, but we've actually been training to be a Paramarine regiment for a while, so the announcement that planes and paratroopers were being added to the game got us more hype than you can imagine. Hopefully you can wear the Beret with us someday!
I can see them making a high altitude sky layer where planes travel quickly and can fight each other. With only flak cannons reaching them. Then if they want to do precise bombing or strafing they have to fly slower at low altitude. Exposing themselves to more short range AA. Also the AA space problem isn't a problem if you can build AA on top of an AT bunker.

Thanks! :D I'm self-taught for blender, lots of youtube tutorials. Depends on the animation. For example, the Linn of Mercy Video took some 10+ hours to model all the new things, and another 10 ish hours to animate. This video took me slowly making models while I was sick then spending a 3-day weekend animating & doing a lot of overnight renders. It takes a while for the crazy stuff lol

Thanks :D The buildings and vehicles are made from scratch, that way I can do stuff like cut them open (like in my tanking video) and rig them for animation, at least my style of animation. After all.... foxhole hasn't released any planes yet so, I had to make them from scratch :D
I haven’t played foxhole yet watching a bunch of videos before I start. But I assume it will be like real life. AirPower will be everything if you don’t control the sky’s you won’t have a chance
Hopefully in this big update there will be Zeppelins, that would be nice and annoying? Just imagine this thing will shoot unlimited bullets and can kill its enemies in the trenches easily from the sky. And imagine ALSO if this thing also had a spawn system and unlimited paratroopers, and if it was possible that above the balloon there would be a parking space for the plane, so it could be that the plane would land on the balloon and be repaired by people and spam it again with full life. . This will be OP but yes the anti-air gun counter will definitely be very easy to destroy, at least?
I think the runways themselves will probably be preplaced by the devs. And then players can build taxiways and hangars (also I’m assuming all the naval ships are getting a overhaul with lots of AA turrets especially on the battleship)
i would bet one of the smaller planes would probably be added alongside a catapult system making frontline QRF plane be treated much like big artillery or missile site
So in a game where I cant aim my rifle up or down, infantry AT weapons are always at critical or zero levels, now we have to worry about supplying AA as well?
Wouldn't it be fairly easy to have barrage balloons not visible unless you're in an aircraft? Like obviously you'd still see the lines going up to where it's deployed, sort of like how you see the trunks of trees, but the devs have already implemented a lot with the visibility of layers. I'd think this would be pretty easy.

When it comes to airfields, and their specific size. Probably what's gonna happen? Is there there are going to be smaller runways that players can make to land fighters and supply planes, and then there are gonna be bigger runways that are on the map already like logistics hubs where bombers will operate out of this is pretty much how it worked in real life as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.You had fire bases and then you had fighter bomber bases, and then you had bomber bases, I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the fighter bomber base for complexity reasons
When I started to play the game back then in 2017 I'd have never thought that Foxhole would get this big one day. The question I constantly asking myself is how are planes supposed to work with the region border?
I think Airplanes may be on their own "Ariel" Layer instead of "in" a hex with ground units like other vehicles. They would of course be able to effect one another but for server/load times they would be separate. Like if it was a regular vehicle that was just above the ground then imagine going between hexes in a Plane. Just crashing into the wall or flying alongside it for 5 seconds
I think that the devs said that they'll be on the same layer, and I really wonder how they'll deal with the border queues for planes, hopefully it doesn't mean we have to package them between hexes.
As a pilot in a lot of the games I play I am really looking forward to trying the update when it hits. Unfortunately im in no clans and these will defs be clan exclusive
Well if there's anything I've learned in foxhole, it's that if you wait till late war, there's a lot of opportunities to try out all the equipment as long as you're nice (I've once seen a LCpl be given the opportunity to drive a battleship). Collies usually have something like a bluefin with hundreds of Public Spathas late war. And in War 117, WLL dropped 300+ Gunboats+ Ammo in one seaport so people could gunboat without having to make it themselves :D
I just wanna ask did you make all the model from scratch or you just exported it I been wanting to make little compilation of what happening in the front I know how to make models and simple animations in blender buts its kinda hassle to make all the tanks boats and models from scratch

Some anti-air options at least for emplacements, the wardens would definitely have the anti-infantry emplacement because it’s basically an anti-aircraft flak cannon used to turn infantry into ground beef, and they could perhaps have a secondary mode that can be used to target aircraft. For the colonials, I actually think having the Hades nest placement as an anti air option would be really interesting, as it was based off of a British designed anti-aircraft missile system called the Z battery that was being used during the blitz and also it would give a reason for its use, as I’ve never really seen it being used anywhere. I’m pretty sure the half tracks could definitely be outfitted with an anti-aircraft Cannon of some kind, I’m just not sure if it’s going to be AI, or players are gonna have to figure out how to hit planes from the top down perspective. I’m certain there would to be an AI defense structure if the devs can’t figure out how to make the aa gun usable for players.
Though since this is a big update, I would not be surprised if they would add two super units that are involved with the aircraft update, they could likely just do the easy option of giving both factions aircraft carriers, but I actually think they might try to include an airship carrier, these airships obviously weren’t used in a real war(they couldn’t never really figure out how to resupply and get the aircraft back into the airship safely in flight), but they have prototypes and they were tested by America in the inter war period, and since Foxhole takes a lot of inspiration from that era, I think it would be easy to fit in. But how would it work? Well, I have an idea, make it an aerial long hook. in which you have it be a spawn point for pilots, the aircraft(mostly fighters, and perhaps a transport plane or a glider) would be built on the airship, but they would be on a timer similar to the landing craft of the long hook(or can only land on the airship itself) but unlike the landing craft, they can be repaired and refueled by the airship with some type of landing implement(perhaps a long runway on the bottom) and storage space(perhaps a pulley system for resupplies), given its vast potential range and large frame(it would cast a vast shadow on the ground, but only aircraft and aa guns can hit it), I would think that this ship would be used in supporting naval battles, landings and other types of operations but be behind the frontlines as this airship would be incredibly fragile. it would likely have 2 AI aa guns on it, but it would likely not help you very much. I would think the normal aircraft carrier would likely function the same way or similarly but be a lot more tougher than the airship but possess far less operational range and containing more space for planes than the airship.
But then comes the question of who would receive the airship carrier, I think there are many arguments for both wardens and colonials to receive it but in my opinion, I think the wardens should be the ones to receive this super unit, as I believe the warden’s ww1 aesthetic of form over function, quality over quantity(they like to use older technology in an interesting new way and also the designers are given a lot more leeway and time to design their machines)approach, and the colonials aesthetically are more World War II oriented in their design philosophy being far more pragmatic in their approach to Vehicle design, believe it just fits better mechanically wise and lore wise for it to be a warden exclusive.
Airfield are also going to need their own dedicated logistic teams to rearm them in a good time span plus also repair crews as well.
Imagine creating a partisan force and getting aerial air drops in certain points. You could sustain a constant sabotage operation. Especially if you can somehow get far back.
i have a question How will planes manage to cross the borders? Will it be a completely open map or will we hit the invisible border and wait for 5 seconds?
ohhh I forgot to talk about that. It was in my notes and everything. Planes waiting in place at a border would be funny, but I have a feeling that we might have to package them before crossing borders.... we'll just have to wait and see.

I would imagine the plane just runs into the border and keeps flying till if you decide to attempt a turnaround or teleport. But don’t know if the vehicle will act like every vehicle if it just start at zero speed or the developers will attempt to keep aircraft at the original speed it was at when teleporting. But that assuming if the developer allow you to travel between areas with aircraft flying

Other typers of planes that also can be added:
CAS(Close air support): Basically dive bombers, which can hit a single target like ships, tanks or a bank base, and on the same note, Torperdies can also be a subclass of CAS, instead of a bomb just being a torpedo, trying to hit ships, depth charges to anti-submarines missions.(maybe even drop sea mines too👀)
Interceptors/Heavy figthers: Different from figthers, they sacrifice mobility to have more fire power, they migth be excellent agest bombers or transport planes, but due to low speed they migth be unable to win a dogfigth agest a figther.
Scout Planes: No armament, but as long its on the air, it can work a watch tower, sending imformation to someone who has a radio, and helping in any operation
Well the devs did say that they didn't show everything they're working on in the trailer, although I kind of hope that if we do get torpedo planes, they're a little weaker than the submarine torpedoes, otherwise submarine use would fall right through the floor lol
If we do get scout planes, I wonder if we'll end up using the actual carrier search patterns from WW2 :o
@@BlueLaminate I hope we get some late war jets, rocket interceptors, and late game jet bombers and b29 equivalents. Loitering interceptors as you suggested is what is done IRL where interceptors have long flight times and long range missiles.

I’m pragmatically excited for planes, I like the idea but I’d hate to see a repeat of naval where one faction (colonials) gets a straight up better option for a few wars until they finish the other faction’s version…
It was such a pain playing as wardens when collies unlocked the destroyer, it was just a light battleship that couldn’t be countered on sea and even by land it was a pain to try and man a 150 long enough to kill it before it inevitably blew up the pallets with 4 rapid fire 120s…
I fear the bomber will be the next destroyer if they go through with the whole “one faction gets a neat killer tool and the other faction gets the version used to stop it” and be a absolute pain to deal with, I imagine waking up in the morning as every mid sized regi to see everything bombed out at their fac building their one battle tank that took them 3 weeks to get because night time raids will be stupidly common if wardens don’t get their own bomber to counter cripple the collie rear
Well, during the devstream they said that the trailer didn't show everything "if you didn't see something for your faction, don't worry there's a lot more to come and we don't want to start any big controversies over why one side didn't get what - at least yet"
So I'm hoping both sides at least get a bomber & fighter.

Something i am verh interested in is that if they add cargo planes and you can parachute your supplies if your surrounded how will the cargo be affected by the wind when it is falling down for example if the wind is too strong will the cargo land further than the expectee drop point and end up in the enemy base

Well, currently the freighters have zero kinds of armament, so they can't deal with gunboats attacking them, let alone airplanes.

One thought came to me, is that one team or another is absolutely gonna pull a Market Garden and drop loads of infantry but be unable to be relief them
Let's be real here we'd still drop in just for the hell of it.
The issue with air is that it will instantly become the most important domain to control and completely shift how wars are fought in Foxhole to a more strategic scale. It will also overwhelmingly benefit large and active regiments, because they will be the only ones that can produce and field large numbers of planes. Foxhole is loosely based on WW2, and that wasn't won by soldiers in trenches. It was won by mass bombing raids on industrial centers.
Well, if there's anything I've learned from late game foxhole:
The big clans usually need masses of randos for their big pushes anyway :D *hoping to score some free planes*

My day job is a flight instructor and as someone that has hopped in and out of foxhole over the years its pulling me right back in.
I will say keeping it semi realistic would be a good idea. Or else this is going to turn into top down war thunder very quickly. If people walk in, spend all this time building their fighter, then crash it instantly, it’ll keep new players from really using it too often and leave it to large groups with trained foxhole pilots to master.
I also think it will make those large ass battleships pretty useless. Take the Bismark for example. One of the biggest strongest most powerful battleships in WW2, and died because a single biplane with a single torpedo took out its rudder turning it into a turkey in a turkey shoot.
Ground attack airplanes should also be a must, something similar to the IL2, will move frontlines so much faster. It’ll help break the tide of things like bridge battles where all you would have to do is just launch a ground attack over and blow up half of the bunkers.
Recon airplanes would also be pretty cool. It could be the only airplane you could switch to first person in.
Finally keep out aircraft carriers, they would be too strategically op. Keep the fuel capacity of the airplanes very limited as well. So taking airfields becomes vital.
tbh i don't think battleships would become obselete because of the healthpool, them having more aa and as you saw in war 117 using them as off shore bombardment.
i think aircraft carriers would actually be a good thing let's take the naval invasion in war 117 what if colonials had the planes well wardens would have had it be way harder but with a carrier the wardens also could use airplanes.
what i think they should do is make the carrier to be the same as a super heavy (SH opposed to other tanks in cost to build).
but i'm on board with the ground attack planes like the thunderbolt, stuka and the IL2.
I hope that they add planes to home region so people can practice not crashing

I’m hoping there is some imbalance in what types of aircraft each faction has, like the colonials getting a large bomber alongside a short ranged dog fighter whilst the wardens could get a form of dive bomber alongside their fighter-bomber

addition of planes genuinely would shake up the late game meta alot, the potential for bombers to be a side grade of heavy arty that's a bit more safe, consistent, and flexible but lighter hitting and require more coordination may shake up the late game to be more mobile and not revolve around fire bases as much
I really can't imagine how planes can be played with this kind of camera.

Air Traffic Control will be interesting on each of the Air Fields. Gonna need a grounds team and work heavily with Logi to get replacements and even defenses to protect the airfield along side enemy Patricians using the parachutes to get behind lines to hit Logi and more. So Watchtowers will be more vital and people will be needing to watch the Map even more.
The LARP / RP will be funny on ATC Radio or even funny Take Off Talks to the Paratroopers hahahahaha
Hi Laminate. Don't know if you remember the 340th from Base Sagitta many wars ago. I showed up briefly in that video. It wasn't clear at the time, but we've actually been training to be a Paramarine regiment for a while, so the announcement that planes and paratroopers were being added to the game got us more hype than you can imagine. Hopefully you can wear the Beret with us someday!

I can see them making a high altitude sky layer where planes travel quickly and can fight each other. With only flak cannons reaching them. Then if they want to do precise bombing or strafing they have to fly slower at low altitude. Exposing themselves to more short range AA. Also the AA space problem isn't a problem if you can build AA on top of an AT bunker.

Depends on the animation. For example, the Linn of Mercy Video took some 10+ hours to model all the new things, and another 10 ish hours to animate.
This video took me slowly making models while I was sick then spending a 3-day weekend animating & doing a lot of overnight renders.
It takes a while for the crazy stuff lol

The buildings and vehicles are made from scratch, that way I can do stuff like cut them open (like in my tanking video) and rig them for animation, at least my style of animation.
After all.... foxhole hasn't released any planes yet so, I had to make them from scratch :D

I haven’t played foxhole yet watching a bunch of videos before I start. But I assume it will be like real life. AirPower will be everything if you don’t control the sky’s you won’t have a chance
Hopefully in this big update there will be Zeppelins, that would be nice and annoying? Just imagine this thing will shoot unlimited bullets and can kill its enemies in the trenches easily from the sky. And imagine ALSO if this thing also had a spawn system and unlimited paratroopers, and if it was possible that above the balloon there would be a parking space for the plane, so it could be that the plane would land on the balloon and be repaired by people and spam it again with full life. . This will be OP but yes the anti-air gun counter will definitely be very easy to destroy, at least?

I think the runways themselves will probably be preplaced by the devs. And then players can build taxiways and hangars (also I’m assuming all the naval ships are getting a overhaul with lots of AA turrets especially on the battleship)

Wouldn't it be fairly easy to have barrage balloons not visible unless you're in an aircraft? Like obviously you'd still see the lines going up to where it's deployed, sort of like how you see the trunks of trees, but the devs have already implemented a lot with the visibility of layers. I'd think this would be pretty easy.

When it comes to airfields, and their specific size. Probably what's gonna happen? Is there there are going to be smaller runways that players can make to land fighters and supply planes, and then there are gonna be bigger runways that are on the map already like logistics hubs where bombers will operate out of this is pretty much how it worked in real life as well, so I wouldn't be surprised if that was the case.You had fire bases and then you had fighter bomber bases, and then you had bomber bases, I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the fighter bomber base for complexity reasons

There would probably be a version of the transport plane that has an open back as it very closely resembles the Fairchild AC-119.
When I started to play the game back then in 2017 I'd have never thought that Foxhole would get this big one day.
The question I constantly asking myself is how are planes supposed to work with the region border?

I think Airplanes may be on their own "Ariel" Layer instead of "in" a hex with ground units like other vehicles. They would of course be able to effect one another but for server/load times they would be separate.
Like if it was a regular vehicle that was just above the ground then imagine going between hexes in a Plane. Just crashing into the wall or flying alongside it for 5 seconds

Well if there's anything I've learned in foxhole, it's that if you wait till late war, there's a lot of opportunities to try out all the equipment as long as you're nice (I've once seen a LCpl be given the opportunity to drive a battleship).
Collies usually have something like a bluefin with hundreds of Public Spathas late war. And in War 117, WLL dropped 300+ Gunboats+ Ammo in one seaport so people could gunboat without having to make it themselves :D
Collies will probably set up an “Air Force” discord that you can join without a regi and see when people are asking for crew
