In the midst of power struggles in Westeros, a man with a vision arose A prophecy about the destruction of mankind with a singular goal: to unite the 7 kingdoms and face the impending winter. His name still echoes today in songs and pages of the oldest chronicles, from Westeros to Essos. Aegon Targaryen!
House of the Dragon is a good show but this story about Aegon should have been made first

I'd love to see all the stories from Fire and Blood book tbh, Aegon the Conqueror's story would be epic, but also I'd love to see the reign of Jahaeris and Alyssane (although, I'm afraid that a long peaceful reign doesn't have much prospect for HBO)

He's also supposed to be very closed-off to everyone outside of his sister-wives and Orys Baratheon. He's an enigma. Or more accurately, he is THE enigma.
The Baratheons are famous for being furious, Lannisters for being Machivellian, Arryns for being Honourable, Starks of being hot-blooded, Grejoys of being Marauders, Tullys of being Familial etc. But Aegon is supposed to be Enigmatic from what I've gathered. Closer to dragons than humans.
It would surely be crazy expensive, even by Game of Thrones standards. To do it justice, with all those battles.
Also, although it's a very interesting read. It's such a processional, one-sided campaign, I'm not sure how compelling it would be. The Dance of the Dragons is a more evenly contested campaign, with both sides having victories and defeats, and therefore better suited to a TV drama

@bryanfish7303 I'm not sure about that man .. surely the story is one sided but you could put in so much really sick frames and conversations, with all the drama that occurred inside all the existing families in Westeros, the Doom of Valyria, extreme crazy battles with the biggest dragons that Westeros ever saw, the melting castle .. man with the right budget, script and actors this could be a masterpiece ready to be made 🔥

Having dragons was like a F18 jet being given to just Rome. Not just a military jet but one that doesn’t run out of ammunition
I always thought of them like nuclear submarines. They can seemingly pop up out of nowhere, lay waste to armies or raze cities, and then disappear completely. They are everywhere and nowhere.

Lol, one more comment. I thought John Snow should have been the king at the end, and it would have been a terribly great ending. To see him on the Iron Throne while clearly not wanting it would have been devilish good, IMO.

You did a good job on the video, although I have to say, I was a little perplexed when you said that lady Shara was only confused by her child sitting on visenyas lap. She was not confused. She was terrified. That was not visenya extending an olive branch, that was a straight-up threat, any parent would see it that way. That was a threat to her ability to protect her own son. And it was visenya sending her the message that if she wanted she could have torn her child apart before she even made it into the courtyard. The reason things didn't get violent is because lady Shara knew that it obviously wouldn't end well for her, which is what egg on wanted visenya to say in the first place. That was all threat my dude
The Targaryens was the most powerful and troubled clan ever. Sick part is, they kept their clan going through incest. Married female's no less than 11 and 14. The fact that they couldn't last, is pretty sad in the Game Of Thrones continuity.

Artwork for Aegon often seems to look a bit like Henry Cavill in the Witcher, and Rhaegar art looks a lot like Chris Hemsworth. Worthy models, for sure.

I believe the reason that Torrhen Stark bent the knee to Aegon because they were told about the song of ice and fire, about the long night and the whitewalkers. Being that the Starks new the truth, instead of opposing Aegon join him. In the 2nd season of House of the Dragon, the first scene of the Wall and Cregan Stark it appears he already knows of this prophecy as he looks off the top of the Wall and into the distance. This is just speculation of course, I could be wrong.

Targaryans weren't the first family to come in Westeros. Dragon Stone was actually just a pit stop Vassel point for the Valerian Kingdom. Dragon Stone castle was already there long before the Targaryans seek refuge in it.
Henry would look awesome as this role.

#SPOILER ALERT _ Aegon Targaryen loved his Sister-Wife Rhaenys but his Sister-Wife Visenya married him out of duty. I believe Visenya Targaryen was a lesbian #🌈#Tinfoil Hat Theory , Which is cool !!! Hopefully we also get to see Balerion the Dread , atleast better than dragon skull used as target practice for Cersei's scorpions. I think Balerion's Dragon Skull was uses better as a place of worship, like the Targaryens🔥

This is an engrossing story but the question "why?" keeps pulling me out of it. Why would anyone think that they could defeat dragons? What exactly was the strategy of a conventional army against dragons? I'm not even sure why aegon brought along a conventional army when their three dragons could destroy 100,000 soldiers

all the dragon families didnt die targaryens had dragons and the valeryons and the celtigars had dragon blood but no dragons which is why those families intermarried in westeros. just because they didnt have eggs to hatch dragons doesnt mean they arent dragon families the valeryons and celtigars had already settled in westeros when the targaryens came. families of the freehold without dragons would settle in other areas and call those places outpost like driftmark, celtigar island, and braavos were all settled by valerians.
