It shows you that you can’t get all of your dreams come true. They both had their separate dreams become real but they had to lose each other in the process. It’s very realistic because not everyone’s Life will turn into a La La Land fantasy. As much as I love Dylan's jokes, I love the way he analyses the editorial decisions within the movie, like how he talks about the camera movements and background decisions... it kinda makes me appreciate the movie more
Ryan Gosling in this movie is my dream guy he's so passionate and supportive but he also isn't perfect which is rare in romantic movies usually the love interest is portrayed as the perfect dream guy and while he is he's also imperfect and has flaws it's the first time I watched a movie and wanted the love interest flaws and all. Also Dylan was me during the ending I was so pissed I wanted them to be together
I mean, his college got shut down, but I think his course *was* something about movie directing stuff... no wonder he's got a good eye for it. The only thing I noticed in this movie was that the songs were all one-shot 🤦.
