This video honors the memory of Swami Shriyukteshwarji, the revered Kriya Yoga Master and the Guru of Paramahamsa Yoganandaji and Paramahamsa Hariharananda Giri. Shriyukteshwarji consciously left his body for the last time on March 9 1936. His Mahasamadhi day is observed in all the ashrams on Kriya Yoga International Organizations on March 9. Kriya Yoga International Organizations represents an authentic and unbroken lineage of Kriya Yoga Masters starting with Babaji Maharaj and including such spiritual giants as Yogiraj Shri Shyamacharan Lahiri Mahashaya, Swami Shriyukteshwar Giri, Shri Bhupendranath Sanyal Mahashaya, Paramahamsa Yogananda the author of Autobiography of a Yogi, Swami Satyananda Giri, Paramahamsa Hariharananda and Paramahamsa Prajnanananda. It comprises of four organizations - Prajnana Missions (headquartered in Jagatpur, Odisha, India), Kriya Yoga Institute (at Homestead, Florida, in USA), Kriya Yoga Centre (at Tattendorf, Austria) and Australia Kriya Yoga Association (at Sydney, Australia). These organizations runs and maintains several ashrams. In India there is Hariharananda Gurukulam at Balighai, near Puri and several other ashrams. In USA, there are four ashrams - Kriya Yoga Institute at Homestead, Florida, Temple of Harmony at Joliet, Illinois, Tempe of Peace at Denver, Colorado, and Temple of Compassion, an ashram for Mothers at Brenton near Houston. In Addition, there is the Temple of Divine Love at Sao Paulo Brazil. In Europe there are two ashrams at Tattendorf, near Vienna in Austria and at Sterksel, near Amsterdam in Netherlands. In Australia the ashram Kriya Yoga Vidya Mandir is at Sydney. In these ashrams and regions there are more than one hundred monastics and more than forty Yogacharyas (household teachers) who serve the missions of the Masters. @@priyak3107 there isn't a wish though since wish implies a wanting from ego. Karmic echoes can still remain, but the identification with some-thing is permanently gone. There is only god-realization.

Who ever, how much ever they raise in yoga or yogi, once they are born the physical body has to suffer pain, no one can escape this, the yogic bliss they face is purely for the soul and the yoga of physical body can only relieve and to some extent keep you healthy

Bengal...The land of great spiritual masters.. when I read the book autobiography of a yogi, I was simply amazed at the spiritual leanings of people of Bengal...apart from the incredible yogis mentioned in this book,Swami Vivekananda, swami chaitanya mahaprabhu, swami Ramakrisha paramahansa are the jewels on Bengals crown....oh why have they now forgotten sanathana Dharma , their rich cultural past and embraced communism? any answers?
Same invasion muslims, conversion. Later on britishers orchestrated famine there so a lots of people died and displaced from there and moved to various parts of India. Bangladesh and West Bengal when it was part of India was the land of spirituality that produced many many great yogis. It was full of Brahmins and others saints, but poverty, famine, conversions because Brahmins were there so they had to hit the Hindu religion fort to knock it down. It was 'The fort' of spirituality and if you see everywhere there were more people who were in to yoga and religion it had to be destroyed by them because they knew it had power.
The leaders there also played a part in the destruction of the state, like the current CM Mamta Begum, who brought in Bangladeshi Muslims in illegal way for her votebank. But, the power of these learned men will destroy people like Mamta and again, make it Sonar Bengal

When you say "he had predicted his death for that age and then it happened 10years earlier than that date due to as athma..." . Does it mean that "by saying 'predicting' we mean he had decided to perform mahasamadhi at that particular age. But the suddenly a natural illness in this case Asthma came up and made the death happen earlier."?

Paramahansa Harirarananda never met Swami Shriyukteswarji, nor he met Paramahansa Yogananda, with whom he had just communication by letters. Swami Narayana Giri was serving Swami Shriyukteswarji at Karar Ashram. 🌺
Paramahamsa Hariharanandaji was initiated into Kriya Yoga by Sriyukyeshwarji. He got his next Kriya from Paramahamsa Yoganandaji
