Regarding the couch, maybe you could re-upholster the current couch with a new fabric colour, maybe taupe, beige or teal (if you wanna be bold!) The best piece of advice my husband and I got when we bought our house was to remember that you have time to decorate. Don't feel rushed and wait for sales.

Was thinking maybe Chad can take the gray couches down to the mancave and you can get the blue couch that you liked? Just a suggestion, but congrats to you'll, so awesome to own a home and decorate. Just got my home in January and I'm still doing little things here and there. Got a great deal on a floor sample area rug 5'x8' that was under a table sample brand new, no one even walked on it (original price $600, I got it for $80!) at Ashley Furniture. Take your time and make it your own.

It does look exactly the same on camera. It's not the end of the world though. All they need is some nice really big throw pillows and that will change the look a lot.

Love how you mentioned Nikki when talking about your kitchen. That woman is a true inspiration when it comes to decorating and organizing anything! Don't worry you might just find that you love the couch after other things are put in around it.
I know it will cost you more money but you can put the couch at chad's man cave and take your time for the leaving room couch. But I know it's more money how ever he needed a couch at the man cave so it's a win win lol love y'all !!!

Everyone told me and my husband to live in our house for a year before we started trying to fill it up. I will say that was some good advise - that I SHOULD HAVE taken! FFWD----> credit card at it's limit later. LOL Two couches, grandfather clock, area rugs, 3 beds, and two dogs later. All in all, still the happiest time of our lives. I know you're glad to be putting things away! Have fun decorating, but take your time. You'll have a lifetime to do it in. #werushedit

I get those "eye issues" occasionally and my father told me to put a little ear wax on it (yes I know how that sounds) and it will clear it up in no time and every time I've done it, it worked and it doesn't burn or irritate your eye!

I can definitely relate with you on the washer issue. I locked myself out of my washer the first time I used it and panicked. I was used to the old school one where I would start the washer, then go back to get my clothes will it filled. Well, my new one locks once you start it. I was like....Oh noooo. We figured it out though. I would love that huge pantry.

For the stye on your eye Gabe, just put a small potato in the microwave for 1 min and 30 secs, put the potato In a clean sock and leave it on your eye. Do this for at least 3 days. For the first 2 days it will get bigger but don't worry that means it's working. Then on the 3rd day it will start to drain and go down. And if it's still there after the 3rd day just keep it on your eye the next day and it should be gone by than. Good luck!
