Mostly tourist n foreigner they try n eat expensive hybrid durian. But u strat with different way eat kampung durian first. 👍

Durian kampung is like magic box. Sometimes it is good, some might be having a bittersweet aftertaste. Usually I just use small knife and spoon to open the durian, without gloves haha. My personal favourite will be black thorn and durian kampung. Nice video today.

@@jalanjalanjesse5910 pulut durian. Wash the glutinous rice and cook with santan. For gravy, santan can cook with a pinch of salt and adequate amount of sugar.

other than medicine, ones should avoid drinking alcohol or fizzy drink, coffee too with durian... better drink mineral water to cool down the heat from durian.. after some hours than no problem.

the Weird thing about durian just smell but for the taste. I can say it more like creamy cheese or something fimiliar. But if you make dessert the smell can be less👍😍so for this video i really enjoy it . Can't wait for next video Fighting👍💪

Next time when you try other types of durian, pour some water into the white part of the durian husk and drink from it. It's to reduce body heat. Other types of durian have different and much better taste like D24, Udang Merah (Red Prawn) and Musang King. And don't drink coffee and alcohol with durian.

Kampung = village, countryside or hometown depends on context. When u eat durian, drink more water it can helps you to cool down. Try other tropical fruits too. You gonna like it. Try mangosteen (manggis), longan (mata kucing), pulasan (similar to rambutan). It's fruit season now, you can find those in abundance.

The word khao khao or kaw kaw comes from word in chinese dialect meaning thick as in concentrated. So when you order Milo kaw kaw, it means more spoonfuls of milo to make the beverage more concentrated. In food like durian when you say sedap kaw kaw, it means it has a very strong flavor, in other words, awesome. Padu also means the same thing.

Jesse, those durian dont look fresh! Look at the skin which has brownish spots and if you look at the bottom, its already opening which means its way over its best days! I hope you had better ones after this video but do look for greener ones with bottom part intact!

Some of them are pricey but make sure it is the real one (the thorn, size and colors are different). They claim as Musang King type but most of them sell the hybrid one. Durian Kampung is the legend type of durian in Malaysia. Most of village people have durian tree as we called them Durian Kampung. The origin one 😁

Hi Jesse, Durian Kampung usually original durian grown in village, organic and naturally produce. Older tree produce best durian kampung and certain area in Malaysia are well known for durian kampung. Other than durian kampung, there is also durian kahwin or durian that genetically modified/ enhanced to produce certain taste or to have certain characteristics. For example Durian Musang King, Red Prawn, IOI or Blackthorn. Usually this type will have bigger, thicker fiber flesh and small seed. Durian kampung has less flesh and bigger seed. While durian kahwin give you consistant taste wise, durian kampung gives you wider taste spectrums according to the earth bio rythm in that durian season.

I think "Gao" is a Hokkien word. It can be used in various context. E.g. when you want your coffee to be thicker/stronger, you say Kopi Gao. Very thick/very strong, then Kopi Gao Gao.

Jesse, there is a durian in Korea , but its sell frozen plus the price is quite pricy. You can find it at Asian supermarket and many of it import from Thailand.
One more thing many foreigner, don't like durian bcos of it smell and taste. There are Malaysian too don't like durian..But me,. I like it very much. There are variety of food can put durian as the ingrediant or can eat with durian.
As long as you stay in Malaysia you will know it soon. Malaysia is truly Asian..

Hello jesse, how are u. Yes durian smell weird, but it taste so nice that why durian is king of fruit. Durian have many type, name and price. If u like something sweet and cold maybe u can try cendol durian. What kinda camera u use jesse? Just make sure don't eat to much durian, bcos eating so much can make your body temperature heat. U too take care jesse 😃👍
