FG Commences Compensation To Affected Property Owners

- The federal government has paid compensation of N2.75 billion to affected property owners on the corridors of the Lagos Calabar coastal highway.
The minister of works Dave Umahi also took to a jibe at the Presidential candidate of the Labour party, Peter Obi, asking him to publicly apologise for comments made about the project.

Sometimes people ghost around without first interrogating themselves. How will new projects such as this improve lives when the populace purportedly targeted are in oblivious existence. One would have expected this administration to arrest the deplorable infrastructures in the country. Why not tackle:
1. Lack of POWER
2. Lack of WATER
3. Lack of TRANSPORTATION FACILITIES
Why are you SCARING INVESTORS AWAY with these thoughtless manoeuvres. The Federal Govt cannot boast of employment generating projects but destroying the existing ones. Landmark employs thousands and these people are going back into what?. You pay Landmark for damages and the firm will start another that even is not sure when another Govt comes in. Who in his right senses will invest in a place without stability. LACK OF TRUST & CONTINUITY is the bane of SCARCITY. Trust deficit will harm any outfit.
