Pastor Adeboye, going by all that is going on in Nigeria - the marginalization, the subjugation, the visible ethnic hatred, the massive loss of lives, the visible, lustful clinging to power by the Fulani tribe at the expense of anything, anyone or any other tribe in Nigeria, you are still talking about UNITY and RESTRUCTURING. It seems you have lost touch with reality!
Pastor Adeboye, what you are suggesting is more of theory than of practical value! YOU ARE NOT SOUNDING LIKE A MATURE MAN NOR LIKE A SERVANT OF GOD. YOU FEIGNED IGNORANCE OF AND OVERLOOKED THE BRASEN LUST OF THE FULANIS TO COLONIZE AND ISLAMISE EVERY OTHER TRIBE!

Since the history of Nigeria, we have never seen many Nigerians lose their lives as it's the case today.
Since the history of the independence we have never experienced ethnic bigotry and nepotism.
We have neither or ever seen corruption in our public offices where public officials loot, steal and abuse their positions without fear for it's consequences.
Our country has become poor in the middle of plenty natural resources.
We have never lost hope in our Leaders as we have today.
Our national security apparatus are in shambles and compromised and terrorists are been rewarded and reintegrated into our security systems while our people can no longer go to their farms out of fear of so called herdsmen/terrorists rampant attacks . Our people can no longer live in their homes rather live as refugees in their own country.
Mr Pastor Adeboye, everything that exist has a lifespan and I think Nigeria is at its worst now. Suggesting "Restructuring " is a postponement of the evil that is yet to come. Visit our embassies in foreign countries and see the way our people are treated by the embassy staff. If you present your passport to foreign authorities, you are an instant criminal suspect owing to the image of what our leaders has made of Nigeria. Our children has no future in the present Nigeria as schools and the educational institutions has all collapsed. I can go on and that's why Restructuring is not the solution for the present state of the country Nigeria.

@@adedamolaadenihun Nigeria as presently constituted will only get worse, because without a uniting ethos there can be no united action.
India in spite of its apparent diversity has a uniting ethos - all Prime Ministers but one have been Hindu (and only high-caste Hindu). So India is essentially a Hindu nation with Hindu-tolerating minorities.
China has a uniting ethos - 80% subscribe to the Confucian worldview and 80% speak Mandarin. USA has a uniting ethos - "White Anglo-Saxons Protestant". All US Presidents have been professing Christians (not atheists or Jews, for instance). In fact, all have been Protestants (except JFK).
This is similar to what we have in the UK where in the last 70 years, all graduate Prime Ministers (but one) have been Oxford educated; and there has never been a UK PM who was not a professing Anglican (no Roman Catholic; no Pentecostal; no Baptist!). Amazingly, because of differing ethos the English could not even sustain a union with the Irish with whom they share the same language/religion/race! The Scots & English are almost identical in culture and have had the same monarch for 300 years, yet the Scots insisted on being self-governing and now want total independence. A little over half of the English vocabulary is French, yet there is no question of France and England uniting into one nation.
Our primary "mumuism" is the worship of the Caucasian leading to the belief that a geographical entity created by imperialists is somehow sacrosanct. If the UK which created Nigeria divided, how can "ONE NIGERIA" be sacrosanct? The utter anarchy in Nigeria will never end since it is the direct result of the absence of a common ethos. The only way forward is the emergence of new but more cohesive independent Nations, perhaps within a "Commonwealth of Nigeria". The much-desired unity of Africa can only result from the unity of cohesive nations.

I did very well in Chemistry scoring A in remedial studies and I scored low in mathematics 50% and I chose Chemistry ahead of mathematics in choices but the school placed me in mathematics. I started wondering the school knew I am brilliant in mathematics and failed me and placed me in mathematics. I am from Kogi state the Yorùbá region. restructuring Nigeria is harder than breaking up nigeria and building new countries out of the pieces. These new countries have ancient cultures that they will draw inspiration and political culture from.. our pre-colonial kingdoms had political systems that would be used as a blue print for these new countries as Adeboye has suggested the giving powers to the chiefs and kings ( that is reference to the pre-colonial political systems). One thing that is very glaring that most Nigerians have not acknowledge so far is, we have a 21st century Usman Dan Fodio in Aso Rock. From every indication, Buhari is a Fulani jihadist. He hasn't hide his policies and agendas, the problem is that Nigerians haven't been smart enough to understand that they have the second coming of Usman Dan Fodio to finish the conquest of Nigeria. Boko Haram, Meyetti Allah, Ruga, water resource bill, appointments of Fulanis to position of authority, free visas to Fulani immigrant, Fulani banditry, etc. are all tied to get Fulanis foothold in every part of Nigeria for the conquest. The agenda is put fear in the community, conquer, and take over. If Nigerians reject ruga, he come up with cow colony, if they reject that, he goes to water resources control. He is extremely desperate to get this conquest going, he will not stop until he achieve some form of starting point for the conquest. Hausas own most part of Northern Nigeria, but today, they are slaves to the Fulanis. All the emirates in Northern Nigeria are run by the Fulanis who are immigrant to Hausa Northerners.

You people should *STOP comparing other European Countries with Nigeria,* or with any other African Country per se. In Nigeria, you've over 450 different Languages; this alone does not meet the core definition for One Nation. Please read and pay attention to the story of *The Tower of Babel* in *Genesis chapter 11* and see what it means to be given different Languages. The division of the world at large into different linguistic entities of origin had a purpose according the Word of God, and for Nigeria to have so many Languages inside that geographical unit is even a bigger curse. Finally, remember that restructuring will definitely involve breaking up, albeit peacefully, if that can be attained; if not, then the necessary sacrifice of blood flow might be the only option. Nigerians should stop deceiving themselves that there is any good in their large size; there is only good in unity, not in a size of the nature of a disunited and mis-constructed Nigeria: the foundation was ill from the beginning and we all know what happens to a house built on weak foundation.
May the good LORD raise a savior to save this erroneous geographical construct, in Jesus’ name.

Pastor Adeboye, sir, of all the messages I have heard you preach, this seemed to be the shortest and yet, the most insightful and the most relevant because, you spoke directly to the problem and offered practical and pragmatic solutions. It's unbelievable and yet not surprising that, the political elite in Nigeria together with, the old men in our country could not come up with such an all-encompassing suggestion as this. There is great wisdom in your suggestion and for a long time, I often wondered why local rulers throughout every state in Nigeria, seemed to have been marginalised and sidelined!!! But one of the greatest problems we have in Nigeria is that: revolutionary thinkers are either walking the streets of preaching from behind a pulpit while clueless, visionless, illiterate, kleptocrats are in positions of power and authority. The very nature of greed and largesse is that it blinds the vision of Nigerian politicians - rendering them visionless because the eye of the Nigerian politician can only see as far as his own stomach. I pray your advise falls on the ears of someone who will actually do something about it...and not someone who will unashamedly plagiarize the Singaporean constitution - yet again!!! May God continue to bless and guide you because annointed mathematicians like you should be running this country!!!

LAUGH...... Pastor Adeboye. You are a man of God that I really love and respect so much, But you don't know what is happened in Nigeria, You are a rich man, also You are a well respected pastor in the country, without Nigeria brake up there won't be a peace and unity in that country called Nigeria, Restructuring won't help this situation, Fulani's has power all over Nigeria and Nigeria belong to Hausa's and Fulani's, So where is Oduduwa and Biafra position in Nigeria, Oduduwa need to form and have their own national as well Briafra nation, It is not possible to have a country inside a country, No more Nigeria let divided and let peace reign. A big Amen to your prayer Pastor Adeboye, Thank you.

I thought Adeboye was an intelligent man, it seems he doesn’t know what good governance entails. This is a country that got ministers in all the roles he mentioned why these people occupying these positions cannot make a different. Just imagine you give this country to someone like Adeboye to rule , you will expect nothing with his parochial mindset.

Adeboye was swearing that Nigeria cannot break, he is one of those that brought Buhari and was rewarded by Osibanjo as vice president. He never show concern about fulanisation and ethnic cleansing going on in Nigeria. All this pastors who can see tomorrow never see Buhari coming, sad

    • @annefranciselizabeth3840
      @annefranciselizabeth3840 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Nonsense. Nigeria as presently constituted will only get worse, because without a uniting ethos there can be no united action.

@Florence Never too late to restructure. Breaking up means "NIGERIA CAN'T SOLVE ITS PROBLEM"
Continuous restructuring means "NIGERIA HAS WHAT IT REQUIRES TO DEAL WITH ITS PROBLEM, SOLVE IT AND MOVE FORWARD- BY RETHINKING AND SHAPING THINGS UP UNTIL NIGERIA ARRIVES AT INVALUABLE SOLUTION. IT MAY TAKE SOME TIME, GROWTH NEVER COMES EASY."
Can someone analyze how breaking up is the SOLUTION, and why CONTINUOUS RESTRUCTURING won't work?
Let's analyze and weigh the two against each other and see which one is best for NIGERIA. Thank you.
