I've stayed in that car park many times. Last year I was 5.50, ive never had a problem parking and there's also the other car park behind the toilets. Nobody is abusing it. I fully intend to use it again.
@@johnstevens4080 We can only go on what we was told and what we witnessed ourselves. The parking warden was adamant that your not allowed to park and sleep overnight unless in the green bays. We witnessed 17 vans not in the green bays and he told us there was 36 one night..Unfortunately we are afraid now the locals have started to complain that they will ban it like other places. He himself said he believes it will get stopped and we hope he's wrong and it stays for many years. Because like you we have stayed a few times and enjoyed the town. Happy travelling ❤️

Sad thing is councils only know ban. Councils love a survey why not do a survey and say 25 bays are always empty make 20 perm for vans any time and 5 others from 18:00-08:00. But now let’s as brits ban everyone 😢 Great vlog. We are still not sure where to head for Xmas 🎅

these car parks are owned and paid for by the public for public use ,councils are there to maintain them and the roads which they can not seem to do properly !!, the council employees need to stop thinking they own them and control there use . road registered and taxed vehicles have a legal right to park and everyone should challenge any council employee misfit who thinks they are the owners

Love Skipton. Stayed there many times. Its a great place to stay. If you take up two spaces in the car park, then you have to pay for two.
