Nice! Running the same exact frame with a similar setup. Brother Hobby 2806.5 1300kv with 7x3.5x3 props. Also running inav which has been amazing!! Waiting on my P42A cells to come in though!
Absolutely beautiful flight, man! I almost bought that frame but thought I'd be in the same conundrum I was in with the Apex 7 I have (not enough room for larger batteries). But it looks like you figured it out with the O3. I bought the GepRC crocodile 7.5 instead! Love it. I just built 2 packs from the molicel p42A. They are 21700's. They are also 45 amp, and I'm surprised at how well they do! Are the cells you used (p45b) 18650? Do you like them?
@@OTRFlyer thanks, man! The cells I’m using are the P45B, these are 4500 mah, rated for a constant 45 amp draw. These are 21700’s as well. The packs I built with these are 6S2P, so 9000 mah and 90 amp constant. I fly these fast, usually pulling between 40 and 60 amps constant without them getting hot at all. Super impressive for a Liion cell actually. These are big packs but I built them to fit this frame pretty much perfectly. I wanted the smallest frame possible to save the weight for the biggest battery pack possible. So far this setup is working great for me. If you see the video I posted before this one, there are a couple of shots of me installing the battery pack and it gives you a pretty good idea of the fit. Thanks for watching, man. Cheers
@@illicit_fpv8208 hell yeah. The O3 is just too good. For me these Albatross RHCP have given me the best results. I’ve tried the Lumenier long dual band linear antenna specifically made for the O3 (Goggle 2 use linear antennas), I have also tried the Lumenier AXII 2 long range LHCP. They all do well, but I just had noticeable better performance in range using Albatross RHCP. Cheers
@@redfox7037 thanks man, yeah we are pretty fortunate to have places like this to fly here. I’ve gone as far as 8km out with some bars left on the O3. I could probably get to 9ish km with this setup, but I’ve never really done a “range test”. Most of the areas I fly in only require 4km to 6km in range. Cheers!
@@redfox7037 what do you mean by modification? It’s a full custom built. I have my full parts list on the video description. I’m thinking about shooting a build walkthrough in the next few days though
@@FlydreamMedia yeah Lipos should only be discharged to around 3.5V per cell. Liion batteries can be discharged much lower. I usually only discharge to 2.8-3.0v max, although they are technically rated to discharge down to 2.5v. The battery packs I fly I made myself using Molicel P45B cells, but there are many brands out there that sell Liion battery packs
@@erics1337 do you mean altitude from takeoff or just terrain elevation? I almost never fly higher than about 200 ft above ground. I purposely try to fly as close to the ground as possible just because I think it’s more fun.
Awesome flight! Crispy footage. 🤘
Thanks for watching!

Killer video congrats

Awesome flight man. I'm about to upgrade to the O3 on my LR rigs. Noticed you're using 2 RHCP antennas. Is that the way to go for better range?
