Honestly, she was at the pinnacle of her vocal abilities in 1990-1992 in my opinion. Every live performance I've heard from those years was perfection.
6:46 to 6:58 she used all her air for "in", took half a second of breath, and held "love" for 15 seconds, straight note then vibrato, all while looking completely effortless. Only the legendary Whitney. I've never seen another singer sing live like that. My favourite Whitney live moments are when she just stands tall and opens her mouth and a big note just comes out, completely effortless.
No disrespect to the people that came after Whitney but she set the bar way way so high and I haven't found anyone who measured up since. Someone of this caliber of Superstar quality like Whitney only comes once in our lifetime and we are forever grateful for Whitney to bless us with her magnificent talent.
