I remember watching this repeatedly when I was 13 in 1998 and wanting this game SO bad. I'd love to see an HD re master of all the old Metal Gears for PS4
same story here :D, this demo blew my mind as a 13 year old. Played every Metal Gear Solid game that got released, but this metal gear is still the best. Will never be remastered sadly, because of the feud between Konami and Kojima.
This demo disk came with my PS1 and also included one final fantasy 8. Tekken 3 was the first game I bought. All 3 games were among the best I ever played.
I Remember that there was also a playable demo of the game on a different Demo Disc, and the neat part was that if you went back on the truck after getting the pistol, you could get the NIKITA Rocket Launcher and I just had fun messing with the soldiers by shooting a rocket and having it fly around for a bit, the soldiers wouldn't get the "!" alert until the rocket would explode, instead they just watched it fly around!
Life Counter on the bottom looked pretty cool, I remember being confused when I got to try the demo much later and it was in the top left corner because of how much I watched this trailer on my ps1 lol
@nakedbigbosssnake92 I actually never got the bandana on the PSX, I only had 1CD, and I kept playing until snowfield and then it was end of game for me, I cleared the game like 50 times like that, after like 6 years I got my hands on the MGS PC edition and I finally completed the game, was awesome :). I was wondering why Snake cannot snipe without going prone.

I used to watch this demo several times on my ps1. It's still awesome. Never played or had the game... lol
