the car had a lot of problems :(, my grandparents had one and my god, that was going fast, the car is a twincharger, it really had a lot of problems
@@JG-ge3ui probably, probably either the car came defective, because it even had to bring a new engine, or simply the model of the engine was that it really had a lot of problems

I was personally in charge of making the inner door panels for Sciroccos until 2010. We made amazing cars in VW Portugal and I hope you enjoy It like we did.

@Adolf Hitler thanks for the advice hitler lol. and no unfortunately I cannot import any new scirocco because of the US import laws on vehicles. our law says the car has to have been out for 25 years before we can import, which is why in the us we are starting to see more classic 90's japanese cars like the skylines coming here now

As it is, I think the fastest stock R is the Golf Estate (310PS) which without limiter should do 269 km/h
But they have a 7 speed dsg, the Scirocco is limited with the 6 speed :)

seems quite slow for a 315bhp R especcially as its 55BHP over stock, unless the dsg is limiting torque? i have a Stage 1 2.0tsi manual with 257bhp and 432nm and it feels much quicker in acceleration thank this.
thats quite likely as 300+ bhp through FWD and dsg ends up bunny hopping and spinning tires.

Glad that I didn´t choose the DSG and got the same engine in a lighter car with manual. Over 12 seconds is way too slow and above 200 is a joke compared to the capacity of this engine even with only remap.
Ive got a manual and not even an R but i reach 100 way faster and my top speed is higher is dsg that bad?
@@yannick338 The Torque is reduced and need to be updated first by software and over 450nm with parts to hold up like a normal manual. The car here probably don´t have a dsg flash, which you wouldn´t even need for stage1/2 with manual.

Mixed feelings about the top speed here ive got a scirocco 2010 2.0 petrol stage 2 straight pipe. I reach 295hp but my top speed is around 270 how is that? Ive got a manual maybe thats got something to do about it?
