Although I am disappointed with it, I was waiting for something for Cloud and I really love the costume so i wanted to at least pull a little bit, and i think i may have found the sweet spot for the sword if someone isn't committed to going all the way to OB6! I think one thing a lot of people are missing about this weapon is the buff time. 30secs base, 45secs OB6, and 55secs at OB10. That is amazing! Imagine having even just one good subweapon on him to boost ext time even to level 3 and getting roughly 2x on the timer. 2+ minutes on a buff is really good!
I've literally pulled for 1 copy of each crossover weapon for now and will invest more crystals on whichever one is better after we see Tifa's in hopes for the Princess Guard.
I passed on it, i cant justify doing 2 non elemental atacks to buff elemental potency. i see it might be useful only to use once or twice just before hitting Summon but I'd rather wait until we get Support weapons doing that for my DPS or even for whole team. Many in my guild pulled for it and have good feedback though plus they ARE big fans of FF6 unlike me ;)
Hey Ryder, just a suggestion for future pull videos... Don't spoil the pull results in the video name, it's much more interesting to watch when we don't know the outcome.😅
I decided to pull after first free pull that gave me one copy of Cloud's new toy and 3 wishlisted weapons. Everyone on discord saw my luck with pulls. Only stamps was like 1 or 2 once 3. Almost OB6 but I used only 16 Cloud parts. A lot of wishlist weapons and the cherry on top: Aerith Ultimate weapon. I out of crystals but I'm happy with outcome.
Yo! Love your content! Keep it up! Pulled for costumes only on the two first banners, however this one has me sitting on the fence. The costume being kinda similar to Bahamut and as u mention, casting twice is ugh.. But who knows..some mechanic might show up to prove it super usefull. ATB boost might become more common for instance, making the weapon more value in shorter fights. Also, just before u use Ifrit summon with ur Fire Cloud, use one cast and have an ally use Bahafrit summon to take fire buff to high. Could be a thing.

I got his 5 star weapon for free on the free pull! :o So, now I'm wondering if I should pull more or not. I'm waiting for the Tifa banner but .... I don't know. I'm still undecided concerning this whole crossover. Sephiroth's costume feels the best for me, as it's an arcanum. But, I do like the weapons, they feel unique. No regrets there.
You already explained everything, but in fact I also did 3 pulls, I got to stamp 6 or 7, OB1 and I know I'm fine like that,The only use in having it ob6 is that you first cast this and maybe with Crimson flare that reaches high tier then you get to have the three tiers with just one cast, But it doesn't make sense to me either, I made a video where I show the damage pre and post buff, and I calculated that each tier does about 12.5% more damage,So it makes absolutely no sense to cast this skill over and over again when by casting it once you make 400k, you use 4 more ATB to make 50k more,When with those 4 ATB you could do 400k damage, it just doesn't make sense to me
eh, i see you couldnt resist XD My oppinion is pretty much the same as yours... i believe aerith banner is good, imperil high on aoe skill is great and works excellent with alot of her other weapons, costume is Terra, which is great, but stats are a huge letdown compared to her bahamut costume. Sephiroth costume and weapon are a joke as its equal to the non limited tifa water setup, Cloud Weapon is fancy, but as you already foresaw, yuffie will give elemental potency up to multiple characters in a couple weeks anyways so why bother. the costume looks great and the stats on it are pretty bad. In general the costumes are as basic as it can get and also weaker than the last limited banners which makes absolutely no sense. we dont progress further to become weaker usually. Its a big big dissapointment to me, as I absolutely love final fantasy 6 and this collab was something I was looking forward to... sadly i have 0 desire to pull on any of those trash banners, not even for a skin... just because the weapon and also the costumes are REALLY bad. Even if Tifa would be good, i have pulled for so many Tifa builds already, i doubt this banner is going to beat bahamut magic tifa, nor fire tifa, nor water tifa... so only reason for me to pull for it is because the animation is just fucking great. In that sense... Kamehameha and out!
7:20 just want to comment on that, x1,5 chance means in average one copy each 75 orbs which is between 7 & 8 pulls which is by odds about 1 weapon per page (since a page is supposed to be 7 pulls too) so there is no reason to complain :p Especially when you already got a copy on page 1 + get one more just after haha you are x2 above odds here which is a lot
i got it to OB1 sure it not than good BUT if the devs ever do a event than debuffs our main weapon and you can only do damage with only materia i will be happy with this sword
I ended up pulling for a copy of his weapon, but now regret it. I just don't see myself using it in the off-hand over Bahamut Sword. Oh well, maybe it'll be useful one of these days
Tbh you can skip Cloud and sephi or just grab max 2 copies of cloud and get Aerith to OB6. Tifa will be interesting as the last Banner from many many banners In a short time lately so in keeping my 💎 before I make a impulsive purchase
I cannot bring myself to pull on any of these FF6 banners. The Cloud weapon was enticing at first, until I realized what a bad deal the C.ability was for more than 3 atb. The Sephiroth banner is just a worst version of water Tifa. I want to pull on Aerith's banner to OB6 her imperil weapon, as it's quite good, but her costume has poor attributes relative to her alternatives. Unless you are a whale, this whole crossover has been major bait.
Not sure if I made the right decision but I pulled to ob6. Hope they don't completely overshadow this weapon, if they do I'm gonna have to pray for them to buff it if they ever bring back this event lol.
Man I really like the look of his costume and weapon. As a cloud main this is not an easy pass for me. I’m interested to see the results when you test it 👀
As someone who went to ob10 bahamut sword, I've heard some consensus that this sword isn't worth getting. Also someone said they did the maths and the boost you get would only work if you had 50s or more. They might have had the maths wrong so id love to know if this sword is worth it for someone like me who has a strong offhand weapon. Would this still be good to boost summons or prior to a dos rush phase?
The main reason I find it not worth it is the weapon not going to high in one cast at ob6. However, I could see it useful for summon damage in general cuz elemental buff summon will get to high and cloud has all the right arcanums.
I think for most its an easy skip, but Cloud is my fave char and i'm gonna try and make it work. That being said, it will definitely have some strong potential with summons, and the idea is to only ever use the sword to buff to mid, not buffing twice

I noticed the buff time and it is great but i just can't see this weapon having a long lifespan regardless unfortunatley =\ hopefully i am wrong
