Young Jae is the face of the group this era. Did you not know? They were poorly promoted in Korea and overseas but they are charting and trending now. Ahgase Power! We have to give them more exposure as they definitely deserve it. Stream if you can or introduce them to someone who don’t know them. The other groups exploded in popularity when they were heavily promoted in the U.S. That’s how I learned about KPOP. Remember they are not underrated, they are underappreciated. Anyone who hear their voices would fall down the GOT7 rabbit hole and not turn back.

The transitions in the mv reminds me of their subunit jus2 focus on me production and transition. I really love the song and they all be really looking like models I agree.

To see Youngjae having so much fun and confidence in this MV made me love this song even more. And knowing he produced it is chef's kiss. I can't wait to hear the album. GOT7 hasn't missed this year I'm so surprised because I wasn't a big fan of their music but whew they made me eat my words this year.

Did anybody notice how Youngjae turns into the white veil then brings anyone close to him to either night or day scenes?
I think Jackson's part was shot without the members since he was in quarantine, at the beginning you could see they are together but he has purple hair then on his solo part he has blonde hair maybe that'a why they couldn't make the transition/cut smooth

don't y'all think the mv was missing something?? aside from jackson's scenes, it doesn't have a dance part which proves he was still in quarantine when they filmed majority of the mv. they cannot include dancing since the group was obviously not complete when they filmed it.
This MV is filmed on 24th Nov. while Jackson finished his quarantine on 19th Nov. Also, there’re behind the scenes proved that they filmed all together. That’s cant be an excuse !

Jackson was already in Korea and out of quarantine when they shot the music video (iirc there were social media posts about the filming). Even if he was not together with the others, they could have filmed him solo and added him in but they didn't even try. JYPE is just being their usual dumb useless selves with GOT7.

I think the reason for the hard cuts is that Jackson might not have filmed his scenes with them. He's not in any of the night time scenes, nor does he actually interact with any of the members, and it's very much green screen/CGI at the end. Anyway I'm totally obsessed with this song. This is definitely a case of "less is more" for me and it really allows the vocalists to shine and for the rap line to show off their versatility. They also used those beats of silence/non-drops sooo well, it totally showed off the unique textures of Youngjae and Jaebeom's voices when they end those high notes. I also love that layering effect on Jinyoung's voice where he sings the same lines in different octaves. His falsetto is SO angelic and when it's layered over his deep, smokier voice when he sings in the lower octave, it creates such a unique sound. GOT7 doesn't need all the loud pots and pans, aggressive beat drops, and the overproduced sound, because their vocals speak for themselves.

For those who are saying Jackson was in China or in quarantine during the filming time, no he was NOT! This took place last 3-2 weeks ago. He was out of quarantine then. But Jackson slays even in those 10s. No complaints.
you do know filming the mv doesn't take only a day right?? that oct 24 that y'all are saying might be one of the last days of filming when jackson was already available. the other members might have filmed as early as the first or second week of october.
it's obvious they filmed majority of the mv while jackson was in china/quarantine because they didn't have a dance part. got7's music videos always have a similar formula (like 2 dancing scenes and an individual scene for each member). the production company/director have to come up with an mv that doesn't include dancing bc again a member was missing. tho, i agree that they should've put an effort into inserting jackson somewhere in the middle but since the mv's theme was one shot, i think they had a hard time doing that.
also if someone will say, why not wait for jackson to be completely back before filming the mv, they are obviously rushing this comeback bc the awards/year-end season is already starting (in fact they're filming AAA today) and they have to finish everything asap so that they can perform their new songs in the shows.
Did they perform Breath in AAA? The answer is NO. WTF IS THAT.

GOT7 are another level indeed.
i saw people saying got7 had more control/creative freedom for this album, as youngjae produced this track. i'm definitely not a stranger to seeing/hearing the results of jyp getting his hands on got7's tracks and altering them, either to make it sound more "gOt7" or changing the track entirely. i really love this track, and it holds up so well by itself. it doesn't need choreo or fancy/complicated editing, just some nicely executed match cuts, beautiful sets, and some moving shots and whatnot (+ their beautifully styled outfits and them just walking around). i have high expectations for this album and i hope they achieve much success.

JYPe/GOT7 released behind the scenes pictures of the MV filming - Jackson was there with everyone else for the MV filming, they filmed it together (like Jackys have been saying all along). Ahgases can now stop making up excuses for the lack of screentime for Jackson. It was clearly deliberate that they gave the most popular member the least screentime, for some stupid reason.
Fact that Youngjae wrote and composed this song make it even better. The song itself is amazing and the MV, both of it screamed GOT7.

I wish people would open their ears and eyes to GOT7. They're indeed amazing, the fact that what THEY produce sounds like this (and that's only getting better and better makes me) and people still sleep on them make me really sad.. Such good vibes, such amazing voices, such talent yet they're still not as recognized as they DESERVE to be. I am so in love with what these boys can do.. I wish, i really wish, 2021 will be the start of their 'recognizing process'

Based on the pictures that the boys put on their Instagram they did filming on October 24 and I’m pretty sure Jackson was either still in China or was in Korea but on 2 weeks quarantine. And Breath is actually written to be a title track. It is listed on the track list as a title track. I guess Breath and Last Piece were too title track worthy that they just had to give us 2 lol. So Breath is actually a pre released title track. It is so interesting that those 2 were chosen as the title tracks because so far they sound completely different from each other. They dropped the 2 teasers for Last Piece so far (JB and Mark version) and Last Piece sounds so heavy compared to the light and airy feel of Breath. The teasers are also filmed in the ending museum scene so I guess Last Piece will be a continuation of Breath. LMAO while I was typing this they released Jackson version of the teaser.
by october 24th jackson was in korea and was done with quarantine around the 20th so he definitely filmed with them that day it's weird.

I really love Breath, especially Jinyoung and JB's parts, but everyone did amazing and it's a Youngjae/JB era for me. I'm also really excited for their actual title track since it sounds amazing and new from what we hear from the teaser.. The teaser kind of reminds me of Pentagon's 'Daisy', and I really hope the song has a similar sound since I love Daisy. Whatever comes out I know it'll be good since GOT7 almost never disappoint and I'm not being biased here.
I have a theory about Jackson not being in most part of the MV, I believe he was still in China when they filmed this MV. We have to remember that he came back to Korea not long ago

@@KD-zj4ye I think you've got it all wrong. It's not just jyp, it's the whole production team that has to adjust to adding jackson to the already set transitions and camerawork. Having to incorporate jackson when they had probably finished planning or filmed half the shoot would only complicate things and possibly delay the output. It's probably why he only appears again nearing the end of the mv.

Like I said, Jackson was already in Korea and finished his two week quarantine when they started filming the music video, so it was strange how he only had 10 seconds of screentime. Whether he was in China or Korea, the planning includes his scenes. There were many solo scenes of the other members, I wonder why they couldn't do the same for him (and Bambam). I guess we will never know the real reason. Anyway, it doesn't matter too much because Jackson caught everyone's attention and left them speechless with his 10 second cameo :)

Did you notice the titles of the other songs being shown throughout? BOL station = Breath of Love. Also JB shows with Last Piece in the back ground. Look closely at the pictures in the art gallery. They are the locations where the video has the boys. There is even one of the white material. They ARE the art!!!
I was never a Got7 stan, I just listened to some title tracks. But since You Calling My Name I loved every single release and the b-sides as well. Guess I'm a fan now.
