I have "many" more air rifles and pistols but I still love that old "wood and Brass " Sheridan , I removed the worn Bluing , thinking I was going to reblue it... Nope , the freaking thing is made of brass it seems.. Bluing wont work.. Got some "Brass Black" but it looked like 💩 so I left it brass.. It has patina on the brass now and looks pretty nice . I just wish I would have stockpiled the original 5mm pellets made by Sheridan .. they were a bit more accurate but no longer made...
Loved the intro your scopecam is awesome very clear ,love it when we see the slugs in flight I am envious of your shooting skills.I know you must miss sometime but when you hit those sparrows they will never return as zombies
How is it a 30 grain h & n slug with the first reg 185 and the second reg 157 and I am getting maximum 975 fps and the valve is open more than 5 lines. How is it I am not getting 1000 fps . Does the rubber ball makes any difference . By the way the slug power kit is inserted as well. Why do you think I dont get the 1000 fps. The hammer spring is maxxed out as well.
Because the FX dual transfer port is tiny , fit a Huma dual transfer port and watch your speed rocket with your same settings , the FX port is restricting flow .
I have a question you with the helix 6-24x50 mrad that I have I find that there is very little elevation. you advise me there titan 5-25x56mrad first focal plane???
I hope you answer this question back this is something that I'm looking for something that can push a heavy pellet pretty doggone fast but able to dial down on other calibers with the same power but be able to bring it down for accuracy what gun of the FX this would you recommend

Probably start with a high reg pressure (150bar) and go on from there until you reach the desired speed
reg pressor req 150, power wheel on max and hummer set on max... it can shoot sam velocity.
