- As part of a long range shooters team, i bring double trouble to this episode with my latest 2 Fx Impact M3 air guns. I am a pro hunter that works with big scope and air rifle manufactures around the world. I always get the latest gear to test and showcase. This video showcases myself and a friend as long range shooters doing extreme long shots on pest birds in South Africa with the latest Fx Impact M3 models. I share my configurations and talk about both Fx Impact setups with my latest upgrades done to this models. The ammo i am using is high powered air gun slugs specifically designed for a hunter that does hunting. You will see some mind blowing long range shots in this video. The longest shot I've ever managed to do and hit the target was 114 metres, using hw100 177 @12fp, brilliant shot placement lads ,keep up the good work 👍

Two hundred plus yard shots with an air gun, incredible! I would take those shots only with my 22-250 or a higher caliber. Your expertise and equipment knowledge is impressive. Thanks for sharing and cheers from Texas.

Yes, I would tend to agree with Barend Nel, that would be some of THE best long range shooting for airguns I've seen ever!

For some of those long shots, I was able to eat lunch in between the firing, hangtime, and impact of the pigeon, lol.

Is it difficult switching back and forth with MOA and MIL scopes? I think I like the clean reticles better. But, I'm not sure which type of reticle to go with. Although I know both your guns use different reticles, they still look the same to me. Anyways, you guys performed amazing shots from both guns.👍👍
It's not difficult, with ballistic software you just modify existing profile or make a different profile according to your scope, if you have MOA turrets & reticle that's what you put in, same with MIL, or even different range finders (yards vs meters) so you can mix all of the different measurement standards and still get the same results! 👍

Hi! Can you make a video how you setup sterlok pro? Do you need to replace tape on turret eveytime the weather changes? Great shooting by the way 😀👍
AirArmsHuntingSA & AirGunnerSA both have great videos on Strelok Pro, Strelok has kept the same layout for the time that has passed since those videos were made ("if it ain't broke, don't fix it"), so they are fully and entirely relevant 😀
As for tape, you know the rule of thumb: Zero always gets knocked out during transport (not always, but it's rule of thumb), regardless how well the gun was protected during transport.
So you always start out by punching paper at same distance as the scope was zero'ed for.
If it is slightly off, you adjust for it, after that, you check if it hits spot on at any OTHER distance, compared to what Strelok tells you.
If it hits spot on compared to what Strelok says = You're good.
If it doesn't: The tape is invalid.
That's your queue to measure temperature, humidity and barometric pressure, and then put that into Strelok and then try again, if it hits spot on at 3 different distances (just to validate) = "Permission granted" to use that new drop table to put on your new tape 👍
If it doesn't hit spot on... you're in trouble.

Oooof I noticed that spiral, barrel seems to like the H&N slugs, so must be imperfection in that specific slug!
Wasn't the first time I've seen it with H&N slugs either, H&N really need to step up quality control because ethical shots hang in the balance IMO, rather a few less tins produced for people to use, than unethical shots 🙂
One of the things I'm noticing now with the M3 and Maverick is the dual regulators, with less air needed for lighter slugs & normal pellets, the dual regulators will have more of an... Impact 😎
