@@morgannowlen8375 It's really cool to see. When I marched drumline it was nothing but men, but now you have women on snares and tenors that are real bad ass players.
A note to the instructors: We're an SCV feeder... but the Troopers already have their own visuals. Troopers battery deserves to use them, not SCV's cookie cutters. Give them an identity, not "Spock" visuals from SCV/BD past.
The full ensemble sound of the drums, to me, is spot on. Gives them their own space to exit without being covered up by the other sections and it blends well with the full sonority of the Perc Ensemble. Generally, Rennick lines will use a variation of this tuning scheme and it seems to work out well for them.
Overall this line is freaking amazing 🔥✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾✊🏾
Gotta agree, they're very good!
BEAUTIFUL Pearl drums!
Snares sounds amazing
Pearl drums undoubtedly sound the best on field, with the *only* truly free-floating snares (Ludwig makes one but no-one plays them)
@@mmmbetter55 Pearl... still the best, especially for lower tuning. Love how those toms sing!
Yes, sir, they do. It’s damned-near impossible to make Pearls sound bad.
Love how the line started great clarity
Clean attack says a lot about a line... even if a dirty one makes the PCH stop it.
9:45-Pump the heart for the win.
Go Tenors!!
GO GIRL TENOR PLAYER!!!

Back in the day, the next time the line was together you'd have to shup. No losing a stick. No replacement either.
@ 17:44 NICE CATCH!!!!

Drum four on quads tune is hard to stomach.. Maybe a slight higher tune respectfully
it's a little out of tune too
Tenor please tune a little brighter please, the reason is they are skilled and snares are bright….
higher pitch maybe?
