Thanks for giving us some valuable information Dale! I really like your idea of putting the holes down in the trap bed area. I ran into the same issue of otter wanting to roll a lot setting the traditional dirt hole style sets. Even after catching several hundreds of otter over the years I still learned a lot from these two otter videos. Just wondering if you are going to make it up to the NTA convention in July? Would love to stop by and say hi if you are.
I have went blind with the toilet of the otter and use nothing else just bed like would do for a coyote. I get them that way also. I like the idea of bobcat gland lure to add . Thanks
You're welcome James. No its gland based but has all 3 fox coyote and cat glands in it. It's designed for those 3 animals and has no attraction to otter at all.

I know that they have a large feeding area, I checked them and I see their traces near the stream, about 1 km from my pond. they are carrying my fish 100 m from the pond I am dealing with old smart otters, please help, tell me.
Lek yes I like several different smells for bobcat. Yes fish oil is good for otter. Try to find where the otter enter and exit your pond and place sets there. Also if you can find trails leading to the toilet area, those need set also
