GREAT video. Greetings from Adelaide. Good tips. Old SF Novels and Stephen King are good sellers. Sold a pretty worn 1970s copy of Dune for $80. Was my personal copy. Also King's Bachman Books I actually found a free copy in one of those side of the road swap boxes. I read it; then sold for $50.
Love books; also VHS videos are quite collectable now. Often find ones still sealed pay between 20c and $1 each. Sell for $20-30 or more.

As you sell books - you get more confident with buying books with the knowledge you gain each time

Honestly, I find this very sad. Not enough people read enough books throughout their lives. Us, the avid readers, are in love with little book shops, with the smell of aged paper, the collection of emotions of going to find and get more books than you were looking for initially. Part of this is because of being able to pay 3 or 5 dollars per book. I always discourage all of my friends to pay much for older books, specially those whose authors already passed, as they are not providing benefit for the author anyways, just a greedy person trying to get a cheap and quick buck on the effort of a really talented person (the author) and the passion of the reader. Please do not do this, you can make a better buck by buying cheap shoes online from the providers in China and selling them locally either online or a hybrid business model. I will keep promoting sharing free pdf versions of books to fight this abhorrent practice of treating books as a common merchandise.
Thanks for your feedback. As an author myself (not sure if you heard that part though i held up one of my books multiple times) I would want people to seek my book out. I think you are missing the point. I am the person paying the couple of dollars or literally saving them from recycle bins where they are to be pulped or landfill. The little bookshops you refer to often charge a premium. My eBay shop is my little bookstore and I love books. I have five completed novels and 8 smaller illustrated books with my name on them. Keep watching and have fun.

At the moment I have only done one or two. They're a great way to go that is for sure but Mel is next level awesome
