Not that I don't like the video; however, the reset method on which button to push or sequence of buttons are difference based on the model and options (i.e. LX, EX etc.), would be nice for the individual to just mention it in the video. Even though this is a LX, not every one would recognize. I would guess that is one of the reason some would give a dislike.
Dude, think you are the only one on the internet that actually knows this! Everyone else says to press the INFO button on the steering wheel. My 2016 Civic with a keyed ignition does not have an INFO button. Your way worked flawlessly!
And thousands have been doing before us for decades that's why people tend to buy the same vehicle or brand because they like the layout and quirks of the vehicle
So this exact way didn’t help but all I did was instead of just pushing the button down after it started flashing I held it down until it came back up 100 percent 👌🏼 but still very quick and to the point and you just saved my ocd from going off the deep end 😂😂
Thank you so much for the info some other dude went on and on and ran his jaw on his oppion about milliage supposed to be telling people how to reset oil light but never did get to the how to part you did all that in 58 seconds thanks alot bro..
heads up (don’t know if this wasn’t mentioned already), i have also a 2016 civic & the only difference was holding down the menu/info/ℹ️ button for the 10 sec.. maintenance reset menu pops up, scroll to all due items (specific item), hit enter & done
Thanks for the vid - easier than the manual. My new car is just at 3800 miles and is also at 15%, but I read the recommendation for oil change is every 7,500 miles or every 12 months. Why was yours at 15% with only 5610 miles?
Every few months I keep coming back to this video because I always forget how to do it.
4eye76 me Im a mess 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
Me too, i did the oil change today

That's what I said he did a great job in 58seconds.

Hello. If your using synthetic motor oil, you should change the oil every 7500 miles. Call your dealer and ask them why yours if off.
Thank you! Mine just popped up today!
Good video, instruction online don’t say once it’s flashing to let it go then push button again.

Hi, does this affect the car in any way by doing this ? Will I still have to go get an oil change done?
You have to change the oil first and reset it at the same time
