On google translate it doesn't tell you there are other translation sites that do this is if it ends in a sift sign like постель where it could be either.
If you know the adjective declention, try to add an adjective to a noun on Google translate. For example "cozy bed" would be уютная кровать. УютнАЯ is an adjective of a feminine noun :)
what about with the letter 'ь' ???? is there any way to tell? медведь - I know this is male, but only because I saw a declension. How can you tell if it's in nominative case?
