PikminXOXO(Ending) Um, Fates takes place in a different timeline all together, like the Ike and Roy timelines. The three that went to Nohr were brought by the dragon Anakos. Also, since fathers are the ones who have specific kids in Fates, I'm pretty sure that Selena/Severa would NOT have the child that you're talking about. That is one out of however many people she can support with. It would make more sense if she got married to Odin or Laslow since she already knew them. It is also mentioned that Cordelia already exists in Awakening so your paradox is sadly impossible

Human Anankos required the help of some heroes to vanquish Dragon Anankos and take care of their child (Corrin) but he needed to travel to another world (Awakening's world). He encountered 3 of the heroes who defeated Grima and begged them for help. They agreed and they came over to the world of Fates. Human Anankos died though, so they never knew the name of his child and joined Nohr in order to find said child.

The dragon said that they could but they also have a chance to return to their original world instead. Regardless this version of Chrom and pals aren't the ones that Inigo and the others know. The two people involved in this conversation will never meet again. I don't consider this promise possible but you could argue otherwise.

Doesn't this creates an time paradox? Chrom can't be both their father because of the mother (she somehow holds the seeds lol). Im glad they fixed it in fates though because in real life the kids comes from the father and is past on to her to make it to be born within the human flesh.
Chrom can't be Severa/Selena's father because he can't marry Cordelia. He CAN be Inigo/Laslow's father though.
How can I have chrom?
You can't in Fates. This is merely a DLC Chapter.
