basicly this dlc focuses on what happens if its the revalation path, but the heroes failed to kill anankos, shigure is the sole survivor from corrin's army and takes azura's pendant and flee's. anankos then wants to find a realm, where he was not shunned from humanity for going mad and invades multiple deep realms to find his ideal realm, in other words the children's realms which each respective child character hails from either the birthright route or conquest route. afterwords anankos gathers up the kids and in an attempt to save himself the trouble he creates illusions to have the kids kill eachother. eventually when all the kids clash, shigure comes in and dispels the illusion and tells them the truth, of anankos, the multiple worlds and how they will stop them. but when they reach anankos' castle shigure sends them away intending to sacrifice himself in exchange for using the forbidden fourth lost in thoughts all alone verse to kill anankos, but (m)kana, ophelia, sophie, dwyer, nina and forrest recall words that azura told them in heirs of fate 2, where eventually they must decide their memories or something they hold dear. what she meant was shigure can still live at the cost of an equal amount of memories to that of a human life, or in other words to defeat anankos without sacrificing shigure they must give up the memories they made throughout this whole arc. the group makes their way back to shigure and as they fight all the kids meet up with their fathers, re-animated by anankos after they died protecting them and with the powers of all the children the kana's awaken the omega yato and defeat anankos, and afterwards shigure disposes of the pendant and all the children forgot the events that just occured and returned to the worlds they came from.
Here I was, reading the conversations, enjoying Shigure's singing voice, not really listening, while pieces of my heart chips away at every conversation, when I realized something. There was a feminine voice singing along to Shigure. *Azura* was *singing alongside* Shigure. I never felt so much heartbreak since I was born.

Camophlo she's always been my favorite because of her reckless childlike innocence. She wants to play and show her affection but people don't seem to understand, yeah she puts herself and others in danger sometimes but here's the thing.. She's a child. Just let her live as recklessly as possible
I love how at the very end of Heirs of Fate when you see the pictures of the children reunited with their parents, Ryoma is messing up Shiro's hair like he said at 0:45. Also, Kiragi jumps into Takumi's arms like he said at 2:17. And for the Nohr children and parents, Xander puts his hand on Siegbert's shoulder like he mentioned in their special conversation. I don't know what Leo and Forrest were doing, though... :/

Proton Toad The reward is interesting and seems very useful, but ive already seen everything the game has to offer and i looked up the real ending, so i feel no need to have everyone survive. Fates was fantastic, but it looks like its over for me. Time for Planet Robobot
The final sentences of these conversations are the best part of them. For example..."You aren't allowed to die until I've proven myself once and for all dammit.
In the original Japanese version he used the most formal honorific when talking to Ryoma and Takumi, but his overall speech pattern is casual. Not too formal, not too slang, just casual. Because he is AWARE he is a prince, but doesn't WANT to be one. The problem is how to translate honorific to mirror that personality.
Now, a lot of people hate Rhajat, Caeldori, and Asugi, as they were 'terrible attempts to bring back Awakening characters'... But the way Rhajat is portrayed in this is perfect. Sure, she may look cold and heartless, but in truth... She just likes being around her family, and during her supports with her mother in the main game, she even goes as far as to offer to help a village that got sick with something she'd inflicted them with! I have no real opinion of the other two, though. >.>;
I like how they gave Takumi the Skadi, that could possibly mean he was possessed at some point since SPOILERS:: In Conquest he got the Skadi after becoming possessed, maybe Anankos used him to help invade other Deeprealms...
Azura's ghost joins Shigure for a duet in some parts of the song. Shigure sang to weaken Anankos. Check out the dialogue at the beginning of the battle.
This map was SO MUCH FUN on Lunatic/Classic. Granted, I failed my good number of times ( losing Percy on the last possible turn before winning, missing two 89% hits in a row, etc. ) but man!! It's great because it takes strategy and management. Ironically, I feel it's the easiest of all the Heirs of Fate DLC. ( at least on Lunatic ).

I don't know which one I'm saddest over. They were all very emotional, but I think I have to give it to Kiragi and Selkie. They tried their hardest to remain positive even knowing it was pointless and had no choice but to fight them. It's so sad to watch. ;-;
Also that moment when Kiragi lands the crit on Takumi at the exact moment the song gets intense really made this video for me. That was just spectacular
Shiro and Ryoma: God Damnit! NO!!! Kiragi and Takumi: HES So little he doesn’t understand the weight of this and god damn it hurts! Asugi and Shiro: fuck ;,( Selkie and Kaden: Oh man the scarf got me. Hisame and Hinata: He knew him better than I thought. Probably the happiest out of all of then. Mitama and Azama: Feels man the feels Rhajat and Hayato: a kid vs a kid probably the most development Rhajat has. Caeldori and Subkai: stages of grief used well in one convo, this is when I realized the writing was actually great! Kaze and Asugi: Damn that’s cold... Takumi and Shiro: Damn less cold but still cold Ryoma and Kiragi: ok that’s a cool interaction.

I know this may seem way out of line, but what if this battle is just another illusion, and the parents aren't really possessed or rather what if the kids are possessed by Anankos in the parents eyes, like how it worked back in "Light's Sacrifice"? Unless if that's how it really is...
No it isnt,this is an alternate universe where the avatar was killed in the final battle and only Shigure survived.Every kid is from a different world than everyone else and they are fighting the parentd they lost in theyre own world that are then braught back after defeating Anankos
It's easy when you get the strategy down for it. I put the defensive units behind, take the healers and royals ahead, and have the Kanas fight Anankos. Paired up.

Mistah Jenkins Rhajat is my favorite because she has the appeal of Tharja but is better character overall
The last line of Shiro's convo is the reason why he's my favorite FE unit around, and one of the saddest convos IMO.

To be fair, Ryoma and Xander didn't see it in chapter 14 of Revelations, leaving me to believe the pink aura is invisible.
Took me an hour to beat. In total, about 2 hours.
It's easy when you get the strategy down for it. I put the defensive units behind, take the healers and royals ahead, and have the Kanas fight Anankos. Paired up.

Yes, the ending is changed. Shigure is distressed at the losses and you get a short and abrupt ending with no rewards.
