Thank you for your opinion on the DR and both it's positive and negative aspects as set up as yours is. Right to the point with just the right amount of coffee and small talk. Well done.
    Greetings from Niagara Falls Canada

They're a good thing. I'm on my third now.
The only thing I will say about the Screens for Bikes windscreen or any screen for that matter is you will notice buffeting if you're wearing a peaked "adventure" style helmet. I've tried numerous screens in different configurations and they all seem to do the same.
Wearing a normal road helmet probably doesn't show this up as much.
    Cheers

Yes spot on. I removed the peak on mine but miss the sun shading it provides

I can't fault them for intended purpose. Always been a Honda fan though.

Thanks John yes it is a good bike. And you were right about adjusting the jet to tune it. I’m hoping to do a run to the west coast in Tazzie this November cheers

Cheers, from the US, brother! I'm in the market right now, for an enduro. Looking at DR or XR. Can't wait to get out there and explore! Excellent video, my man. Got my sub! 🤘

The DR is far from an enduro(race) bike. It is much too heavy with poor suspension and underpowered. It’s a good dual sport lightweight reliable dirt tourer

They are cold blooded bikes. Mine would often stall in the first few kilometres, especially at stop lights. Did the same as you, TM40; free flowing exhaust and opened airbox. Absolute crap suspension will kill you in rough terrain, get the FFRC Plex valves for the forks and rebuild the shock. Can’t believe the 2nd hand pricing though.

For the lads who get after it , please replace the cush drive bearing when you change rear tyre, Seen to many destroyed hubs. I ride like a granny 👵 so they last longer , carry a spare in your toolbox
