Thank you for this BLO tip. I can see how well it saves the yarn from stretching and should work in other projects, like bags with flat bottoms, or even bath scrubbies. A definite 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻. Again, thank you for this tip.
I've been doing this for a while (I think you did a post on it before) and it's a great technique! I made a bunch of mini Easter baskets for people at work and used this technique. Each basket looked very neat with a very defined bottom and sides. Thanks again, June, for another wonderful "trick"!
This was a wonderful instructional video. Your voice is extremely relaxing. You should look into making ASMR videos, I have a feeling they would be very popular.
There's a massive online community who seek out individuals with relaxing voices, like yourself. Just search ASMR and you'll see how huge it is. I genuinely think you have a knack for it already.
You can use it in any amigurumi project where you have a single round of back loop only stitches to turn a corner - you'd only use this technique for that one round of BLO, and then go back to working in both loops as usual after that.

This is a life saver. Those holes made by the stretched loop were driving me crazy. Thank you 🎉
You're welcome! It always really bugged me too - it's *so* much better this way 😀
Thank you June , that's so much better , as you say it's fiddly getting into the back bump but it's worth it 😊 xx
Hi June! Great video! I’ll have to try this sometime!

Cool
So this technique can be used for the whole amigurumi project?
You can use it in any amigurumi project where you have a single round of back loop only stitches to turn a corner - you'd only use this technique for that one round of BLO, and then go back to working in both loops as usual after that.
is this applicable for continuous magic cirlce?
If you mean for working in a continuous spiral instead of joined rounds, then yes!
There is no “OMG I love this idea so much” button so I’m typing it. Thanks.
