    Hi My friend!
Honestly, what a great a great video and review!
I have been riding a Gen.1 Piaggio Fly 150since 2006 which just got totaled by my insurance co.
Although I wanted to upgrade to the Liberty, I could not afford the MSRP over $3k plus dealer fees which added up to over $1200 here in San Francisco.
I was looking at nearly $5K for a new scooter.
I decided to search the used market and recently found a Gen. 2, 2013 Piaggio Fly 150 on craigslist and was simply looking for an honest review about the difference.
Not only did I find you first review about the Gen. 1 Fly 150 incredibly useful, but then followed the link to your next review and this video about the the Gen. 2 Fly 150
I love how detailed you were about pointing out the current features and comparing them to the old ones.
Because of your review I now know the battery and fuel fill are in totally different places than my last scooter.
I also now know about the fuel injection vs carburettor of the last model, and that the stock back-rack can accommodate a top case without installing an aftermarket luggage rack which I had to get for my last Fly 150.
Thank you also about the heads up concerning the potential Computer Fuel Management System hiccup and the 6K Mile service interval.
I have ordered parts from you guys multiple times, and have been very happy with your company.
I especially love the stickers you send with every order, and I put them everywhere!
I had no idea until now that you also did video reviews.
You guys have earned from me top reviews anytime and I will gladly recommend you to anyone I know looking for scooter parts.
    Great Job!
    Sincerely,
    - L. H.
    San Francisco, CA

Good review. Man that's a tall windscreen. I like to look over the top of a windscreen but you would have to be 6'4" to see over the top of that one.

No need for a helmet visor with this windscreen!

It is a windshield, by definition if you look over it it is a windscreen

Awesome. Now I know where the battery is on my used 2014 Fly 50 (with big bore kit). It has only 2400 Km.

Nice review! Having weird gas consumption in my Piaggio FLy 150 2014. 1 gallon for a full tank and only takes 37 miles per gallon. is that normal? cruising speed is mostly 45-60 mph trying not to go full throttle always but is it that heavy on the gas consumption? Thanks

Also I’ll be visiting the states soon, i would like to buy some parts, that needed the most. Any advise on that..drove today a very long distance in Andes! Amaizing performance!

Looking at one that was stolen and apparently it’s giving a code for immobilizer. Is that a major deal?

Anyone have a fix for a glove box that will not open ? I put a battery maintainer on the scooter for the winter, and that all went fine. But now the door will not open. Is there an electrical latch that I may have not reconnected ?

    Hello Robot,
I am an second owner of 2nd generation Fly, (product year: 2015, made in Vietnam, Europe version, 125cc). I have an issue with my Piaggio. My scooter goes out at the first red traffic light during braking. At the beginning I thought that maybe it is a problem with clutch springs but someone told me that maybe it is the injection issue or temp sensor. In this material you mentioned also about oxygen sensor issue. Could you give me some hints in this matter? Best regards and greetings from Poland :)

What is that red blinking on the center of the dashboard when its off?

    • @VespaMotorsport
      @VespaMotorsport  4 ปีที่แล้ว

That’s the immobilizer indicator. Means you can only start the scooter with a coded key.

There is NO KICK STARTER on MY 2006 Piaggio 150 Fly which has 10,000 miles and Last summer in August I had the Carburetor and Fuel lines replaced. Starts Fine.
