Yashio doesn't even expect himself to win. He literally just wanted to scare the drivers with his crazy builds. But he did build the C-Ser Impreza back then which nearly beat RE Amemiya's RX-7 had he been able to change the tires for the final battle.
this version is fun to watch. no matter what, old car is more fun to watch than newer cars. the older car is more about tuning that show its character and performance difference. mix it with some new car on the show makes its enjoyable.
i think the S15 could've won if it had the right camber setup. you can see clearly in the corners that the front has too much camber and the rear has too little
i still think FD was the fastest here. due to the nature of the heavy GTR, its naturally that FD beat the GTR on a dry surface- giving GTR has 200hp more as well
Add their Touge country road stage too, that would be fun, I'm sure there's more roadway that could be added in a virtual version. I did at least make a tribute livery of Keiichi Tsuchiya's classic Hot Version AE86. Search his name as a hashtag and you should find it.

The wide body white one got stolen. idk what happened to the silver one, but the fastest current one is the black one with the celica head lights. The last time I remember seeing it on the gunsai touge was when it got destroyed by the green amemiya RX7, (200 hp vs 400 hp - corning speed were the same so it lost terribly on the high speed section). It then went on a circuit racing build. The MR-S needs a g16e-gts swap, then it can come back and show its true abilities!!!
I am wonder what if that GTR is mine's r-34 rather r-35!!!!!!!!!!!! I think r-34 would kill it for sure! Snowing weather............ there are too many variables for the race!!
The 86 needed the LFA V10 engine to keep the revs at 9,000 RPM to match the Rotary but with the power and sound to match Ferrari without compromising any handling characteristics expected from an 86.

車自体も素晴らしいけど、チューニングと乗り手が素晴らしすぎる
カスタムしていくと馬力とかはどうにでもなるけど、元々の重心とかホイールベースは変えにくいよね FDはそういうエンジン意外の素性も最高レベルに優れてるんだと思う

The FD is still one of my favorites. Even after all these years it can still compete with the modern cars.

it would compromise the handling quite a bit because of the massive weight compared with the V10 and boxer 4cyl.

7agらしいですが長く乗るためにマージンを残しているでしょうし、内装を全部残しているので厳しいでしょうね。ただ、マメ号が元気に走っている姿を峠最強決定戦で見たい気持ちもあります。
箱、ストリート、峠上がりだから、こういう悪条件でも走れる。カート上がりの人って悪条件に弱いイメージ。偏見でしょうか。

これ確かもともとドリ車仕様だったと思います。
ドリ車として作ってた車両だからじゃないですかね。
ドリ車なんで、リアが流れるようにセッティングしてるはずです。上の回転がありすぎるので4000〜5000回転のレスポンスが良すぎます。
