More than 970 games. The Microsoft Xbox is one of my favorite consoles in recent years along with Mega Drive/Genesis and Dreamcast. The console was release ahead of it's time due to being the first console to be presented in High Definition (720p and 1080i). Also, my obviously favorite part, I can add my own customisable soundtracks into games like WWE RAW 2, THPS 2x, 3 and 4, Grand Theft Auto III (GTA: Vice City and San Andreas), Counter-Strike, BLACK, PGR 1 & 2, ESPN NFL 2K5, etc. Xbox is such a great console and I still enjoy it to this day.
Max Payne was the game I chose at launch due to have seen pictures of it in a magazine that was currently advertising the Dreamcast. I was 13 :) good times.

OMG I'm also looking for a game on the original xbox that i played at my uncle's house when i was around 5 years old or so. I have fond memories of it but i cannot remember the name. It was a game the had a space animal as the protagonist and in this one early level you can put a bunch of bombs in a frogs mouth and the frog can become gigantic and chase you. Can anyone help?

I'm so glad I bought this console in 2007! I had Sega and Sony ones, and was reluctant to switch to a Microsoft platform, but boy, did I enjoy it! Still have it with a couple dozen discs collected through a decade. This is the only Microsoft console I own, and I love it. The main reason for buying it was FROM software titles and the KUF games, but then I found out a lot of great games and the collection began to grow. I now have the newer Sony consoles, but now and then I still play the old black box. Maybe one day I'll restart collecting games for it again. What a great platform! Not to mention its amazing modding capability.
Finally, i can see all the games the original xbox had. Now i can get started in making a list to hopefully get an original xbox in the future. Thanks.
I truly believe this was the last time you could see that 1 console stood out from the rest in terms of graphical capabilities... PS2 and GameCube both looked equally good but the XBox version always looked so much better. Today with PS4 and XBox One you cannot tell the difference between versions at all unless you analyse it through a friggin microscope in super slow motion and even then it is barely noticeable... but Original XBox versions of games had smoother textures, more graphical effects, more colours ect... not knocking the PS2 at all, just stating a fact that 2002-2006 was the last time where 1 consoles graphics stood out as superior over the competition
Stray-Zer0 As far as I know the original versions of the PS4 and X box one. PS4 has the upper had. Not too sure about the spin and s and pro and x versions.

Don't really know about the PS2, but now i'm working on a video with all the PS1 games and that one also has it's load of football, basketbal and other yearly sport titles.
Microsoft kinda struggled to find a e rated mascot and at the time that was still the selling point. They ended up going with more mature games for there exclusives mostly.
Robotech Battlecry had a good time with this game ^^ but as i think about it, Oddworld Stranger's Wrath whas a extream cool game too! :D (hope my eng is not too bad)
Stranger's Wrath is an awesome game, one of the best on the original Xbox. Never played Robotech Battlecry, but as a fan of Macross i should definitely give it a try. Your english is pretty good, don't worry about it :)

I need a hand with find my childhood game, as it’s recently brought up some serious memories. The are quite vague, the game consisted of competing in different challenges and it seemed like a multiplayer game, almost like the modern Lego series, you controlled some type of character. There was also a lot of colour and very family friendly

Thank you for your kind comment; Yes, it was quite a lot of work and by the time i was half-way in i kinda wanted to give up on doing it; I'm glad in the end i pushed on and finished it; I regularly play on my old Xbox and after doing this video i ended up with a huge backlog; With component cables most games hold up pretty good even today;
@@bframe yeah I'm looking forward to it have a modded one ordered hopefully be here by the end of the week. My original PAL console never had the 1080i output option like NTSC consoles so that's another bonus with my modded one.

BLACK is the best FPS game and the graphic was way ahead of its time. Halo 2 have better campaign and multiplayer but BLACK have better soundtrack, graphic, and explosive part. Well, BLACK is better than the first Halo

Thank you for your kind comment; Yes, it was quite a lot of work and by the time i was half-way in i kinda wanted to give up on doing it; I'm glad in the end i pushed on and finished it;
I regularly play on my old Xbox and after doing this video i ended up with a huge backlog; With component cables most games hold up pretty good even today;
@@bframe yeah I'm looking forward to it have a modded one ordered hopefully be here by the end of the week. My original PAL console never had the 1080i output option like NTSC consoles so that's another bonus with my modded one.
True; My Xbox is also modded for the same exact reason; I could never understand why they locked higher res mode in PAL regions;

BLACK is the best FPS game and the graphic was way ahead of its time. Halo 2 have better campaign and multiplayer but BLACK have better soundtrack, graphic, and explosive part. Well, BLACK is better than the first Halo

I cant remember the games name so im watching this video but you played as a soldier during some dynasty and then you befriend a blue genie person then get transported to the underworld and lose an arm or something and collect weapons from the enemies you defeat to fight the big bad and stop a nuke. I think, i was a child when i played the game last haha
