Fantastic compilation, I have so many great memories of Forza, Burnout, Colin Mc Rae, Toca, Out Run 2 and of course my favorite, Project Gotham Racing.
I'm so glad you made this! Every Xbox letter upload I would think to myself "Man, this system had a TON of racing games I've either never heard of or always wanted to try. I need to make a point to emulate these at some point." Such a golden age in arcade racers imo, and it's super convenient to see them all in one place. A million thanks friend!

Burnout 3 Takedown hands down the best racing game for the original Xbox. Being able to slam your opponent off the road and watch this slow mo crash of there car deforming then exploding was just next level, and made the racing genre more fun and competitive. To this day I still don’t know why it’s not backwards compatible on the Xbox One/X|S

Im trying to find a game i played on original xbox its a racing game where you can pick up guns on they way and destroy your enemys and there is an rpg too, i played it with my brother with splitscreen it was fun. I remember the art style like an old school or gang, street racing or whatever. Can anyone help me find it? Thanks.

Can I just say, the physics or animation for the bumper flapping in the breeze in World Racing 2 @21:33 is top notch? Dont know if the game is shit, but the animator who did that bumper flap needs a raise.
On paper it might be a bit more powerful than the cube, but in reality the GameCube blew the doors off the competition in the graphics department. The multiplatform games look like they're one generation behind on Xbox OG & PS2. The only time when Nintendo led the graphics: 6th gen

NFS MW/Carbon, Forza Motosport (2005), World Racing 2(2006), Colin McRae 2004 and 2005, Toca Driver 2 and 3. Project Gotham 2 has the best graphics.
