Did he tell you to stop learning from YT? I ask 'cause years ago my coach would kinda beat us up for trying techniques we saw online and say stuff like "this is what that youtube sht gets you!" 😂
The traditional headlock position is so vulnerable for the attacker that Brazilian jujitsu practitioners tend to force themselves into that position because they have a lot of options of take downs and it’s safe in a schoolyard headlock position. There’s not much that a guy can do with the headlock if you know jujitsu.
If the guy's wrestling is good enough to know this Head Spin backtake, he probably has very good Head & Arm as well. Those wrestler's headlocks are suffocating.
I’ve never seen this before! And I wonder if I’ll ever see it in competition. Will this move work against good wrestlers? Maybe I’ve seen this move, but I don’t remember or recognize it. I’m in awe and jealous at the same time. Thank y’all for showing technique
One of the best channels out there
Dudes thank you so much. I'm a blue belt and do mostly gi with very little wrestling experience. I need this.

Coach you mentioned that the opponent only have a headlock, however doesn't it mean that they can counter with a sagging headlock takedown?
