Awesome statue from a beautiful and stunning game! I got the normal version but I just can't believe how addictive, immersive and passionate it is. There's next to no filler in the world, every path or plant has its story, every village is designed as advanced tribal aliens who adore nature would build them and it all feels very lived in. The story itself seems to be quite short if one were to rush through it, but I know now that you're supposed to master each village side quest line in-between, which is what I'm doing and what is just delightful. Oh, and Jizo (ha ha ha ha ha) is a memorable new character, for sure! 😂
@@UnderTheMoons Thank you, it's just such a surprise since a lot of open world games nowadays are uninspired. He's the Shaamaz of Prokriana, and...er....a bit....eccentric! 🤣 You'll enjoy meeting him, I'm sure.
What a big box! And it says 'Outcast 2', this was done a long time in advance (screen printing). Is what you see on the back of the monster the zeedog? I hope to see the Achondar or Gorgor. I miss not seeing Sankaar in demo (piranhas). I hope the same thing hasn't happened again as in Okaar from the original game, where Douglass Freese told me they had thought about a sea monster but didn't have time to include it. In the sequel there is a lot of water... will there be a sea monster? Nice to add a special metal box, I hope it doesn't break easily. And the soundtrack and artbook... Mmmm.
That's lovely. Thanks for the video! I feel so cheap with my Steam edition now haha They should make a twon-ha special edition. I would definitely buy that.
Thanks for the unboxing and your enthousiasm :) To put a bit of context i actually am old enough to have played the orignal outcast first day of release, yeah the voxel one edition which i loved . i also bought later the enhanced ediition but did not play it long since there was not really new content . i did not know until recently an Outcast 2 was in thr work... few Revjews have read are not great but if you say it s a good game, tjrn i will probably buy it on steam (i play on PC ). In the frenxh version of the orignal the voice over was really good and the music score incredible... Hope this 2!nd game will be good and that the story telling is good... He looks a bit older than i thought
Very nice (and great video!) Really interested in playing this, love the oldskool sci-fi vibes, deeplore and soundtrack shown in the demo. I did play a bit of the remake but not much. Do you think it's worth playing the remake first before the sequel or can I jump in?
I'm surprised in how much faith the publisher is putting into this. I mean, I loved the first game and it is a cult classic, but not a particularly profitable franchise. They triad a re-release of the original, then a full remake of the original and I still think it didn't quite take off. Now this edition with this little creature figure we've never seen before? Why?
Tbh the first one sold really well in Europe, shy of half a million copies sold in 1999 for a beefy computer game. That’s still a dent! And it shows as the game is still very much remembered in Europe. And the faith they have put into this whole production is firstly down to how good the first game was as a whole and (from what I would assume) the concept for its sequel. The remake didn’t get the time to properly develop it, BigBen interactive wasn’t the right fit. But thankfully THQ saw the potential. And if you believe in something, you also want to go full force on it! And looking at some of the past THQ Nordic special editions, this is on the smaller size. (Did you see the Biomutant one!? And that’s a new IP!) In total there were 5000 of these additions made and then 3000 of another smaller edition for PC made. So the totally number is small enough to warrant it for the fans. And thankfully in this day and age, the game is playable on PC and console so the reach is far higher. Also it blooming better do well as I’m loving this game and I need more. Also I was the same when I saw the statue. But literally like within the first 5mins of the game I got it. I love my lil Saí now.
@@ghcfuj77557 ahh you mean actually having a disk? I think the PC version of the Adelpha edition has a disk. If not the other exclusive physical release that also had a single soundtrack disk definitely does. As yeah, usually your given a paper code and sent on your way.
Great video, I also got the adelpha edition. Love it 🔥
Fantastic. I love the foam. Must be from the ancients...
Truly blessed by the Yods this moon
