I love mark 43 and 42. I Like 43 more but 42 is also an amazing prototype. I felt attached to it. I didnt knew it was reassembled! Thanks man!

This is a suit that gives me an indescribable feeling of pure unbridled joy it brings me back to a time where I couldn’t see the evils of the world it was just a young child,a tv with a dvd player,and a dvd of a movie I didn’t even know was a sequel to a sequel a part of a much larger universe
Iron man 3 was what gave me a love of marvel movies and especially the character.

My biggest problem with the mark 42 showing up in Spider-Man homecoming was that it was completely blown up like I doubt you could reassemble it from that stage. So the only option to me would be completely rebuild it from the ground up. With that being the case the mark 42 should have any damage on it as it would have been completely rebuilt. So the only reason it was in Spider-Man homecoming in actuality was, they found an old prop decided it would look cool in the movie and then completely forgot the fact that the suit had been demolished or they were supposed to recolor it into the mark 43 and forgot
I completely agree! spider-man homecoming in particular has a bit of a disregard for previously established lore (the 8 year time skip, Ultron primes head, vulture finding the mark 46 helmet despite being crushed by cap, etc) so I like to think its the mark 43 in my headcanon as that makes the most sense since it was stored away at the avengers tower right before the battle of sokovia!
I think it was rebuilt as it was his most recent suit after every suit was destroyed in iron man 3 soto y could start from somewhere with his newer models

Imo, Mk 7, 42, and 85 are my Favs. Each represent a different stage of Tony's suits, and I honestly just flat out love their designs.

Fun fact: There's a Black and Gold version of that in toy form I used to own although the mark 7 did get a black and gold variant not the mark 42 but still it is a neat alternative

For me watching Tony but on the Mark42 it looked painful and the pieces of armour pushing him back. But with the mark 43 seems smoother while suiting up and does not blow him back.
Great observation!! The assembly must have gone through a major upgrade between suits. There was practically no recoil with the mark 43
when mark 42 arrived in battle against killian, tony said "the prodigal son returns", didn't it become an official codename for this suit??
Not officially, that was just Tony being his usual quippy self. He also referred to the mark 42 as the "bouncing badass baby brother" among other things lol

So Iron Mark Mark 42 has Gold all over and with red details but in Mark 43 armor is red all over with gold details. So they're all the same.

Oh I like the both of them mark 42 and mark 43 I observed the form so they both have the same form. 42 is prototype and 43 is perfect, so they're both perfect.
