I usually kayak the drumpoint area. That south wind gets you most of the time after a calm morning. 😊

Thanks. Im a bit of an outlier I suppose, I prefer 1/4oz even in 8 inches of water but Im sure 1/8 or even 1/16th would work.

Thank you. I launched from Naval Air station but there are public launches in that general area as well.
@@Jacemang_Outdoors I need to give it a try at the Boat hole, as a military retiree. Definitely an area that holds good fish .
Is that a private boat ramp?
Its located on a Naval Air Station. There are open public launch locations closer to fishing areas, I just prefer to use it because of the convenience of washdown station, fish cleaning station, and security of my vehicle.

Fished that same area a few weeks ago. Caught over three limits of mid to upper slot reds. Even with cold waters reds were in about 2 1/2’ of water. Great video subbed. Checkout my cannel Big O fishing. Hit me up. Let’s get those lines tight.
