The two tracks that bypass the station are not actually express tracks. They are a different branch of the LIRR - the Montauk Branch with service east to Babylon (and beyond) and west to NYC.
I just found your channel, and I see your railfanning at Rosedale, I'm from Long Island, though I do recognize Kalamazoo as I have a lot of family that lives in Grosse Pointe and some family in Kalamazoo. I recommend you railfan at Mineola for the PM Rush, it really is a great to railfan on the mainline especially during the rush hour.

Oh, thanks

@@TheAmericanRailfan yeah, I was at Rosedale because I was also doing some plane spotting
@@kzooaviation Nice, you should definitely head out to Mineola.
@@kzooaviation Or, you could head out east to my home branch, The Montauk Branch.
FYI the LIRR M3's are not M3A's the M3A is metro north same for the M7 in the description
@@Jaytherailfan now I'm confused, that's what I had originally but I was told it was wrong and the other way around.
So LIRR calls it the M7 and M3 while Metro north calls it the M7A and M3A
@@Jaytherailfan alright, thanks
@@kzooaviation No problem
