He is. Poor guy was raised like a lab rat, molded to be what he is from the day he was born, never had a choice to be anything else, no parents, siblings, friends to help him understand the world. And oh yeah everybody is afraid of him. I'm telling you, one person who he could love and trust and wouldn't fear him (Ryan's maybe a start) could change him. When he turned his back on danger when Ryan was hurt, that was a change.

It’s very complicated to feel bad for him due to the horrible atrocities he’s committed and how much of a bullying prick he is. But then I remember he was horribly tortured as a child, physically and mentally. He had no family, no friends, no love. Those horrible scientists shaped him to be a monster he is, therefore he hates humanity but at the same time wants same humanity to love him.

Another extremely well made analysis! I've been doing research into far-right and fundamentalist spheres, and this sort of aspect is something I've been struggling on how to communicate to others in a properly nuanced and sensitive way (it can often be misconstrued as defending horrific people or acts, and I get that)
In my own personal life, my parents are kind of similar to homelander (not even trying to meme here lol), just without the physical violence aspects thankfully. Incredibly broken people, and I mourn for them, but also have to accept I can never have parents because of how horrible they are 😅 that empathy but acceptance of their incredible shortcomings is a weird mental and emotional state to be in

    Blud can't define fascism.
Stormfrint was a Nazi, not a fascist.
Edit: nvm, he thinks Ryan killed Stormfront, blud just hasn't watched The Boys 💀

Homelander was meant to be Trump esque an evil racist with superpowers. I don't feel bad for him at all

If you think that, you must be the most weak minded person ever.

So you don't feel bad that he was literally tortured as a kid? No, you probably don't. Please stay away from children.
