Dom referencing how Ben's brother died when talking about why he doesn't wear a helmet is one of the most underrated, genius pieces of dialogue in all of GoW. Dom isn't thinking clearly, he's pissed and Marcus knows it. Ben on the other hand is just taking the punches out of respect. Top tier.
One of my favorite things about the writing in these games is that they have zero chill. Almost inhuman, like real soldiers. Thank you, since Microsoft never released 2 and 3 on PC, I wanted to know what I missed before GoW 4. So far, looks very well done, at first I thought you would have left out the dialogues during gameplay, but you made a good job on cutting the unnecessary played parts, balancing action VS story.
This is still one of the best Gears of War games ever. Marcus, Dominic, Cole, and Baird went through a lot of shit that no one can top. Hell, these guys took out major locust leaders to even the odds.
The worm level was my favorite level. I loved the part when you go through the stomach and you can hardly see cuz of the green fog. A sense of hurry comes over you as you desperately try to get through it
I never got to play this one, I didn't get into Gears hands on until GOW3, but I would've loved to play this one, this one was incredible and just as touching as 3 was, I think the saddest part was seeing Maria after they tortured her, that was bad and then Dom had to kill her himself
+The Matrix Storywise, I think this one is definitely the best overall, although GOW 3 has some incredibly emotional moments. But the epic scale of this one makes it the best campaign in my opinion
If they were to cast this movie Marcus Felix: Dave Batista Dom: Jon burnthal Cole train: Terry crews Baird: Ryan Reynolds or Nathan Fillion Tai: Dwayne “the rock” Johnson And for that last one, just think of the balls-y move to cast The Rock and destroy him mentally and kill him off so soon. That would take balls.
whats the point? (other than a little more story of course) They all die traditionally the only reason the Grubkiller Carmine survived is because the Fanboys\girls voted for his survival in a internet pool choice
The queen talking near the end reminds me of a certain German guy in the late 30s, early 40s..... On a lighter note, Cole's speech is pretty hilarious!
"Welcome back to Delta." "End of the world, baby, wouldn't wanna be anywhere else!" "...I'd think I'd take the tropical island." Baird: The man so smart that he could build a bomb on the fly, repair vehicles and robots in a snap, translate the Locust language, and see the fucking future.

I just now realized 8 years later that when dom said “I wouldn’t be able to see snipers to well, would I?” To B.Carmine at 38:35 that he was talking about Carmines’ brother in Gears 1 getting sniped in the head while his gun was jamming
Yeah, that was shitty of him.
Was I the only one who trained B
nope, I always train him
I train him every time
Commander Volitive me 3
I trained him as well lol.
If you train him, he'll tell you that he has four brothers.
i remember restarting the first chapter in gears 2 over and over just to see the opening
I'm just re-watching all cutscenes from the Trilogy to connect the pieces of the puzzle to ending of Gears of War 4.
Connecting puzzles? Seems fun.
Same
Marathon gears 5.
Vainbrute3754 bruh I went from gears 3 to 5 and I’ve just watched 1 and 2 and can see how they all tie together now
This is still one of the best Gears of War games ever. Marcus, Dominic, Cole, and Baird went through a lot of shit that no one can top. Hell, these guys took out major locust leaders to even the odds.
Benjamin Carmine, rest in peace you cute, precious being ❤
He was brave.
Fuck you Lorian your teleporting is bullshit
Cole’s speech is still one of the greatest moments in gaming.
0:56 Dom and Marcus with their helmets easter egg.
Never noticed that's too cool
Potato Lord how do you know it's them ?
mcjay669 I just slowed it down in the settings on TH-cam, then I looked for their armor.
Dirty Dan nAaa it's just COG solider s haha
Shit it is them! That is awesome
Coming here once in a while reminds me of my childhood
The worm level was my favorite level. I loved the part when you go through the stomach and you can hardly see cuz of the green fog. A sense of hurry comes over you as you desperately try to get through it
Gears of War 2 had the best campaign by far, absolutely amazing.
i remember when i first played this game absolutley the best game i had seen for years ,amazing jaw dropping storyline
We need a remaster of this like the ultimate edition
I never got to play this one, I didn't get into Gears hands on until GOW3, but I would've loved to play this one, this one was incredible and just as touching as 3 was, I think the saddest part was seeing Maria after they tortured her, that was bad and then Dom had to kill her himself
+The Matrix Storywise, I think this one is definitely the best overall, although GOW 3 has some incredibly emotional moments. But the epic scale of this one makes it the best campaign in my opinion
Yea and because I started with GOW 3 I never knew Tai killed himself that was a crazy part too
I played 3 then went back and bought them all. This is my favorite one gears 3 doesn't have that same dark feel 1&2 have
Nelson Griggs I agree, 2 was really intense campaign wise
you can get a free Gmail is the best way , and then the next couple days ago , 2nd St 2
Carmine :(
Just keep him in your memories.
Why do they ALWAYS die
:(
The one in GOW 4 Died too😭
Rylo Ken ññ*
¨
?
“THERE SINKING CITYS WITH A GIANT WORM” name one other game that a line like that is in
I dare you
Yeah, a giant worm.
Then they take Jacinto, and push it somewhere else.
@@spartangoku7610 that's a show not a game
This game still needs a massive remaster like GOW did
*"Delta Squad is in your house, bitch! You hear that shit?!"*
Best faqing line/scene in the whole game, period.
xD
THERE SINKING CITIES WITH A GIANT WORM-Marcus Fenix 2944
funnist thing
We better move the city away from the worm!
( Spong Bob reference )
Gears of War: over 1 hour
Gears of War 2: over 2 hours
Gears of War 3: over 3 hours
Gears of War 4: maybe 4 hours?
Roeg Try 9
ThePatrioticGamer And about 14-15 hours if on Insane Solo.
LOL
I felt 2 was the longest but with the best used time
Wait till you see Gears 5
This games ability to have such good coop mechanics is amazing
I feel so bad for carmine he was only a rookie
58:37 Barid: Cole stop pissin it off
Cole: how inna hell u gone tell me when to shoot and when not to shoot
58:55 that is why Cole is the best character in GoW XD
1:48:00 is why
My faves Baird
man that reference to A.Carmine was savage...
B.Carmine: You know helmets have filters..
Dom: at least I can see snipers
shit
Yet, they both die. But don't worry, we got big badass Clayton on our side.
3:29 that's super weird when I had this game at that point he would say "drop the sir shit kid we ain't that nice around here"
My favorite line in this entire franchise is after Ben’s death:
“How the hell you gonna tell me what not to shoot in here?! Look at this shit!” 😂
If they were to cast this movie
Marcus Felix: Dave Batista
Dom: Jon burnthal
Cole train: Terry crews
Baird: Ryan Reynolds or Nathan Fillion
Tai: Dwayne “the rock” Johnson
And for that last one, just think of the balls-y move to cast The Rock and destroy him mentally and kill him off so soon. That would take balls.
They did that to the rock in the DOOM movie so yeah
1:52:13 Dom "Cut the bastard!"
*Stand still like an idiot*
Bots in video games these days...
really no training for carmine
ikr
whats the point? (other than a little more story of course) They all die traditionally the only reason the Grubkiller Carmine survived is because the Fanboys\girls voted for his survival in a internet pool choice
it helps to be in the delta squad too, following the baddest mfers on the planet
Marco Boscarol I think Carmine needs a lot of attention.
The queen talking near the end reminds me of a certain German guy in the late 30s, early 40s.....
On a lighter note, Cole's speech is pretty hilarious!
That Austrian with the shitty mustache?
One of the best intros to a game I have ever seen!!!
"Welcome back to Delta."
"End of the world, baby, wouldn't wanna be anywhere else!"
"...I'd think I'd take the tropical island."
Baird: The man so smart that he could build a bomb on the fly, repair vehicles and robots in a snap, translate the Locust language, and see the fucking future.
Azura
Crazy to hear ‘inhuman monsters’ after learning everything in Gears 5
51:15 Am I the only one who thought that giant thing is so cute???
Yes you are
No you are not😆😆😆
Dom's a savage when he said with a helmet you can't see snipers that well he was talking about Anthoney carmine
