airdrops seem like they should be locked behind some higher tech lol. i can see ferrying base to base but dropping armies everywhere like that is crazy
Or, have a special army unit that can be airdropped (an airborne division for example) Which is weaker than normal armies and have some other system for air transporting armies (maybe it would need all three transport planes, and could only be from army base to army base/airbase?) (or something like that)
I really like your ICBM videos, tough I wouldnt mind if the videos were longer and with less jump cuts. That way it would be easier to follow your strategy (research/production).
Thanks, good feedback. I'm trying to keep them below 30 minutes to make them easier to digest. Without the cuts this would end up as 3-4 hours, so 3 or 4 hour-long videos.
In the end when you are talking about not knowing who you are at war with. You can see it in the left column under their name. It says allied/neutral/hostile.
Good video. Game wishlisted. They should definitely have research for things like air landing or air dropping a whole division. Specialized troops, and specialized vehicles in research, all the way up to futuristic drop pods and sub orbital drops. They should do the same for marine forces, marines, mountain troops, etc. More balance that way and it makes a player decide more on how they're going to tailor their force.
theres already a lpt of choices in what to build/research or ignore everything we see in icbm escalation that wasnt in icbm 1 is devs incorporating mod content into the game icbm 1 mods had division between army groups (basic army units, which were VERY slow but tough), marine divisions (the only ones to be able to use landing crafts) and airborne divisions (the only ones to be able paradropped, obviously) the latter 2 were faster but softer than regular army unit considering in icbm escalation we dont see any division between division types, devs thought that wasnt needed
Might be going mad (been a while since I played) but I feel like the Suez canal wasn’t included in the first ICBM was it? I’m sure I remember sailing up the gulf and not being able to reach the med.
Looks to be an amazing game! Looks to be a lot of fun, but perhaps a steep learning curve with so many options to understand and control. Great job on the videos sir!
Awesome! I loving your strategy, here as you plow the Middle East. Though since I do not own a key to ICBM I can only makr suggestions. Like in the Technology Tree with Electronic Warfare, they have chaff and flares there, and you can increase research and maybe production through Domestics Technologies. I am just pointing these out so you can check them in the next video. Have a great day!
Would you ever consider doing a multiplayer video? I've only gotten to play a couple multiplayer in the beta, but it would be really fun to get a group together and record it
@@Stealth17Gaming dang that's too bad. Excited to see your video on the Cuban Missile Crisis scenario though, it took me a while to do it without nukes lol
You can individually customize what territories every nation has, so for instance, I made a us with NATO versus Soviet Bloc and Soviet aligned countries. You can create any sort of combination you want, because every single individual territory can be changed owner
hey stealth- at 8:20 you seemingly forgot that the earth is round and you can normally go through the pacific lmao Also you are litterally targetting cities with your armies meaning they ATTACK the cities and hurt them, instead you should just move them next to the cities
@@Stealth17Gaming It's alright mate! Good luck for the series, hope you can win ^^ One advice since the game takes a lot of inspiration from a mod in base game - Research better generations of planes as well as stand off munitions to avoid your planes getting killed by SAMs as easily. As well, having better radar/planes will avoid your own troops and cities being attacked by planes Sorry also if i came out as a agressive. I shouldn't have. Have a nice day !

Yea turning this into a 1h video or so would be great

I'm just glad to see more icbm content 😅
Agreed

An entrenchment mechanic opens the door to WW1 mods. Imagine WW1 start with future tech end.
"I do intend to get a bit more nukey-nukey...." yellow City gets nuked in the background

I think it's a little OP that you can use canals without actually controlling the territory itself first
Found this channel today and instantly subscribed. Awesome gameplay, please make more ICBM content!
More coming up

It is basically Risk but riskier.
25:00, you can see who you are and are not at war with under the player names on the left-hand side. It will say "Allied," "Neutra,l" and "Hostile."
Loved your series's on ICBM 1 the second one looked to have improved on everything
Would you ever consider doing a multiplayer video?
I've only gotten to play a couple multiplayer in the beta, but it would be really fun to get a group together and record it
I did record one but game performance was too bad to turn it into a video

Red text on a green background must be fun for you :)
Wasn't that easy to read even without having trouble with colors.
Yeah it's not great
The colors are confusing even if you aren't colorblind, mostly because the units are lighter than the other colors so sometimes it can be unclear.
Think it would be neat if there was a way to block the suez/panama canal?
Park a navy in it or shut it down using coastal batteries. Or, if you're in a pinch, park a cargo ship sideways, that works too.
@@Stealth17Gamingbest comment I’ve seen in a while 😂
Would be nice if ships with guns didn't fire missiles ^^ But looks very good so far.
What do you mean?all ships have guns even modern ones
@@SchwarzerLuan they probably meant early warships without missiles?
Wait youre gonna make this a series? Nice
Yeah a 3-part series for this playthrough.
Millennium Dawn mod for Iron Hearts IV is neat.
So no individual Nuclear nations ? only geographical blocs are playable ?
If it's like the original, yes, however mods in the original made it into countries
I might be wrong but I saw someone play the campaign and it appeared to have individual nation borders
well in that case, half the world wouldnt be involved due to lack of nuclear weapons
You can individually customize what territories every nation has, so for instance, I made a us with NATO versus Soviet Bloc and Soviet aligned countries.

may get the game my self and play as the north america and take over south america
