At the back corner of your shop by the drill press there is an angle grinder sitting upright in a base platform. Where did you get the platform? Looks handy for cutting shafts.

I was thinking about Reshafting some old Ben Hogan Directors but they have a pin in the hosel, are they easy to pop out?

Great job and I love to watch you shows (I don’t care what other people say)👍🏼👍🏼 by the way hi 👋 from Cincinnati. I wish I can be close by you so I can come and upgrade my hole set . My question is on this video what’s the hole cost to upgrade those hybrids including the fitting
Ps: I will like to see a video for a costume fitting keep it up 👊🏼

First of all, I really enjoy your videos and have learned a lot from you. I'm a big fan. Thank you.
I really need you help. Maybe you can help me solve a problem.
I recently re-shafted my Driver with (Miyazaki Kusala Black 61 X-flex).
The problem is it sounds completely different now.
It does not sound as solid as the previous stock shaft
    (Miyazaki Kusala Black 61 S-flex).
What could be causing the sound to vary?

first, nice handle and awesome question, sound of a club is derived in a few ways
      1) the way the head is shaped
      2) the materials used
      3) the placement of interior materials such as a matting, foam etc.
      4) sometimes the manufacturer will put a tip pin in the bottom of shaft for weight, I think it is more for vibration dampening and sound.
during a shaft change it is possible that:
      1) the head got hot and the RAT glue moved changing the sound
      2) the shaft is not inserted all the way.
      3) If the head is of multimaterial the bonding material is loose from the shaft change.
I am guessing since I cannot see it.
Sound is important in a golf club and is tested by the big OEMs but if the driver is performing well then it might just be something you will have to live with.

I think you found the answer to the problem. When I pulled out the original shaft, I did notice melted white plastic material on the bottom of the brass shim.
Looks like I may have to experiment because there are several variables to consider.
      Thank you , again.

How long did you make the extension of the graphite shaft ? The reason I ask is I thought you mentioned on another video not to exceed about an inch on the graphite? thanks

11golfnut11 I told the customer the same thing and recommended not doing it. If he wanted the entire length, then I would not warranty the extension or shaft

I wanted to see how you removed the head from the shaft and your video just shows you holding the head already off the club with you saying "that was easy." What the heck? This is the second video of yours I watched with that type of tease. Sorry, time for me to move along....

Unless I missed it, you never showed how to install a shaft or a ferrule so this is just a "How to Remove a Shaft" video. Maybe try showing the reshafting process the next time you make a "How To Reshaft" video. The amount of worthless crap on TH-cam makes me sick.

      after being shown in
      th-cam.com/video/j-exUFgCI-c/w-d-xo.html

      and talked about in others
actually putting on a ferrule and applying epoxy is the most basic part of the assembly process.
