As someone from the US with a history of working in the food industry these ironically look significantly better than you could get at most burger places, everything done super authentic and fresh. They look amazing, keep up the good work.
he actually cares about what he's doing and he's using nice, fresh ingredients in a clean environment. big difference from most restaurants.
To be fair that isn't true for all places in the US, plenty of non chain burger places do the same thing.

As an American I can testify that those are indeed some authentic onion burgers, I would be happy to have one of those with an ice-cold coke and some fries🙂

They should definitely do a "works" burger, start with the onion burgers with cheese, cook the bacon maybe a bit crispier to keep the sandwich from being soggy and cook some fresh mushrooms with it, Asians seem to know good mushrooms so they can figure the type out. Then put it on with the pickles lettuce and tomato
I think they went a bit light on the onion, they should have about half of a whole onion's worth per 1/4lb burger.
I am from Arizona, US and those burger look absolutely AMAZING. That restaurant is making incredible burgers and I hope they are very successful!

Years ago when I lived off western avenue in Los Angeles there were a lot of Korean places that served up western type cuisine, and boy they were really great places. Cheeseburgers, fish and chips etc. I loved the signage in Korea town too. As far as beauty in the appeal of written language, Korean is truly beautiful.

I lived off Manhattan Place for some time one block from Western and 3rd St. Ok. I've lived throughout LA. Mostly in lofts downtown, I'm a painter. I’m American and I watched this video with a skeptics eye. Now that I have seen it, I concur, these are very well done American burgers. That made my mouth water. Everything was done exceptionally well! 👍

Well this video is from South Korea. One of our closest allies and a country we saved during the Korea War and helped rebuild. So obviously it is gonna be similar to us.

They have some amazing burgers, fried chicken and pizza in Seoul. Fresh ingredients too. Reminded me of the kind of quality that disappeared from American restos since the 80's
Not all of them definitely, there are some restos that prioritize ingredients & foods quality first, and not only that the foods are also made with passion. But the thing is they're underrated and located in quite an unpopular places like a highway rest area or a mid-tier vacation spot. I've been into some and compared to some fancy "5-star" restos I've been to as well (in both of my country & America) the underrated ones surpassed them
@@noyoucantnoicantnowecantsostop I'm from LA and San Francisco and yes, there are still places that focus on quality and freshness for American comfort food, but they're 'artisan' and hip. Which tells me it's no longer a standard.
To be fair LA is hardly a place that reflects on the state of such foods nationwide, but my friend tells me Cleveland is the same. Quality, comfort food is also a pricey, trendy affair there. In Seoul it's just like you see in the video, and it's bc they're catering to a discerning palette of Westernized Koreans and expats

Good point. Less and less of these joints around. Same up here in Canada, although I'd give 5 guys 5 stars. I love em' And not too trendy. The old school drive inns and diners have disappeared 😔 and man, some of those were gooooood. 🤤 But there is still one single one left from the late 50's in the town near me. 🤗

Proper Murican burgers are great, I sometimes use brioche buns and grind in some extra bacon into the mince with pickled Jalapeños

I can tell that those burgers are going to be delicious! These make me want to fly across the world just so I can eat that delicious food. I'm from the USA & it's hard to find places that cook with pride/integrity in their product anymore. All the food I've seen in SK, or southeast Asia ALWAYS looks fresh & YUMMY! 🤤

This is one of the few instances where I'm okay with the height of the finished burger. They didn't overdo it, which is important. Bacon was undercooked tho.

Wow, Koreans have certainly developed a taste for sugar since I was there. The sauce had a ton of catsup in it plus the bar-b-que sauce which both contain a lot of sugar, then they added granulated sugar to the sauce on top of that! Then when putting the burger together, they added even more catsup to the bun plus the sweet sauce? Yuck. The burger patties themselves looked great though.
