- Today, I'm reviewing the AlgoLaser Alpha 22w laser. For full disclosure, I was sent this laser and didn't pay for it but my opinions and commentary are honest.

Your videos are always solidly entertaining, and I must admit that you have seriously got me thinking about buying a laser engraver!!!
Cheers buddy, appreciate that. I never thought I needed one until I got one! In the next video, I'm planning on remaking a sign which took hours and went wrong several times. Just as a test to see how useful a laser can be!

@justbswoodworking , that's why I love watching your videos, it's the vibe, the fun you have, it's so evident, even when things don't go to plan, hell ESPECIALLY when they don't go to plan😂, that I find encouraging and enjoyable. It is something I try to put in my vids, too.

Very cool, does seem to have better features than some others I've seen reviewed on TH-cam... interesting
It's very powerful for being 22w. I was a little put off about not having a digital display at first but it links so easily with Light burn that I didn't give it a second thought once I started using it.
It's an incredible time to be alive when any crazy fool can have fricken lasers to take over the world!
Gives anyone a chance at world domination!

When I get a chance in the garage, massive fun is being had! It's way more powerful than I thought a 22w laser could be. Can't wait to have some more free time to play with the files you sent!

Yea a must say seems like so much fun. A have no idea about power wise ave just seen the one u had this one and the 55w from X tool but it's all alien to me! 🤔🤔🏴👍
What sort of footprint does it take up and the max size of cutting area?
Apologies for not mentioning, it has a 400x400mm working area and takes up apx 600x700mm workspace.
But does it cut 20mm oak? And how about normal ply?

Out of interest what have you turned down?
A few DIY tools (digital tapes, laser levels, various tiling tools). With my current house situation they would have been VERY handy, but I only want to promote things directly related to woodworking
@@justbswoodworking digital tape could of been handy a have seen few the American creators test things like them they seem not to shabby although be dam sight easier with digital than trying to figure out 3/72nds of an inch a mean come on. Metric people!!
@@michaelwillson6847 maybe he means digital masking tape, could be stored next to the elbow grease and spare bubbles for the spirit levels
