Love this song. It is about the coal mining industry in Ukraine. Ukraine was at one time and still might be the second largest producers of coal in the world. Jinjers' logo is actually a coal mining drill bit that is from the coat of arms from the region they are from. Stay metal my friend. 🤘🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶
Always a good idea to look at Jinjer's lyric. Tatiana writing is deep and very different than other metal bands. She is smart and has the sensitivity of a poet.
This song rails against the inhumane exploitation of coal miners, & I respect the hell out them for taking up the topic. Coal mining is so integral to the identity of the people of their region of Ukraine that their logo represents a coal mining drill! Badass tune from a badass band!
Agree with the others below that Outlander is a must. They’ve been a great band for years and it’s great to see them getting the recognition they deserve now beyond the novelty for most reactors doing Pisces 🤘🤘🤘
While they wrote it about the experience of those in their region, worldwide coal is the form of power that kills the most people per unit of of energy produced. Even in America with relatively strong safety regulations the largest black lung cluster in history was recently identified. For another song in a similar vein look up Geoff Castellucci's cover of the classic Sixteen Tons.
all these older songs have live versions made post 2016, when the current band members are a part of it...they tend to be my favs, although Outlander did have a little more volume with the 2 guitarists, that is the only exception IMHO
Hi ITN, the members of Jinjer are from the city of Donetsk, Ukraine. Donetsk is the epicenter of the coal industry of that country. Thus, many of the band members' families and friends were probably involved in coal mining. I'm sure that made the subject very real to Tatiana and the guys. Keep up the good, perceptive work!
The thing is, Jinjer comes from that eastern Ukrainian part where mining is the major economical thing. They know about the miners and their conditions. This is critisism of the current social conditions, t´nothing figurative. If you try out "Home Back" you`ll see that that region they come from is also a place of civil war. They actually had to flee in 2014 (I think) leaving their parents behind who didn`t want to leave their home. That song is brutal in its own very unique way and it`ll give you the creeps... 🤘
Jinjer - Outlander (uploaded by failure .color) m.th-cam.com/video/XtOYjCkHJak/w-d-xo.html An early song from the Cloud Factory album but still to this day one of their best.
Ukraine is a mining country. Iron especially. And this song is probably their best. Pound for pound. The Deeper, Faster we dig is literal. Like the master telling the slave to work faster. Dig deeper. Dig harder.
Man, I think that video and lyrics on the screen are so accurate with coalmining theme that i was wondering all the time why you ask all these questions? What else should a group do to make it more clear? OF COURSE its about coalmining. I understand you try to motivate people to make comments in comment section but you make yourself look pretty naive. Its not a problem if you make a mistake (potentially) trying to understand the theme of lyrics. But if you are so afraid to have a solid opinion in case when everything is sooooo clear - it makes me wonder - why you are afraid to express your opinion on such an obvious matter? Dont be afraid to have an opinion. In case of this video you kinda reminded me of man looking at a tree and asking - is a tree? Or s it a bush? Or is it my hallucination? Or is it an artificial art object made to look as a tree?... Well - yes! Its a tree! You have your eyes and ears - and they dont betray you. Just try to be more condfident, please.
Hi there, looks like you interpreted my questions incorrectly. Of course I knew it was about goal mining. However, I always try to dig deeper into lyrics because often times they carry dubble meanings. I believe that, while she was talking about the goal industry, she was also telling those stuck in povery to "dig deeper and harder" to change their situations. I apologize if the questions came across as naive, that wasn't what I was trying to do. Thank you for your comment though. 🤙👏🤞
@@ITN_Global Do you know how many times some of your viewers have seen the video you review? I think I saw it it at least 50 times… So the reason why some (or most?) people (can not talk for ALL, but…) visit your channel view your reactions and subscribe is NOT because they haven’t thought about it before. Its is because I want to see YOU while the video is going. And the most interesting is to see YOUR own interpretation of the story you review. If you want to know people`s opinion`s - you can ask them AFTER the song is over. But during the song - you and your own ideas ARE the show. Please, don’t get me wrong - but personally I was kinda of dizzy this time… I mean - you are right that lyrics can have many layers and many meanings. And you have all rights to be interested what do WE as viewers think of the plot. BUT! Your mission is to give all YOU personally thoughts. YOUR own interpretations. And yes, that may feel very awkward (and you need to be brave) - saying what you think, I understand. I didn’t count - but during the song you have asked viewers to “tell you if you are wrong” about 4 or 5 (or more) times. This can mean 2 things - a) you sooooo unsure (insecure, afraid e.t.c.) that you feel that you missing the point or clue b) you want us to do a lot of comments and work your motivation skills c) basically not able to interpretate on your own. Maybe you think my comments are harsh. I am sorry if it feels that way. I don’t pretend to express some “universal” opinion. But I am sure I am not the only one who stops visiting reactor channel if I see that he (you) passes the “ball” on my side without doing his own research. Either within himself either using google… As a reactor you cannot let the song flow from start to finish without interruptions, so listeners are here not for the music, they are here for these interruptions. And your content is what you make out of these interruptions.

Informative comment ^

10/10 song that gets very little attention because there isn't an official video for it that shows the band.

Badass tune from a badass band!
WooHoo one of my Fav songs from Jinjer !!!!!!
This song is from Jinjer's best album. It is the best because all the songs are on the same high level, there are practically no bad ones.
Cloud Factory is still my favorite Jinjer album as well
Outlander the failure color version 2014
In this song, Tatiana assumes the character of the boss, expressing his cruel attitude toward the workers.
Love this!! Next Song outlander from 2014 failor color!!!! 🙌 🙌

Best lyric video... one of their most powerful songs.
Their Captain Clock lyric video is really good too.
This song is so damn good. I wish they still played it live.

Yes most of Jinjer's songs are very deep, and meaningful. Perhaps you should keep lyrics handy when you react.
Yay, my favorite! Glad you got to this one

Tatiana was born in Donetsk Region of Ukraine which the place is prominently known for Coal Miners.... Shes talkin about her people.
“Relax you are unlikely to endure” aka your boss telling you “don’t worry you’ll die soon”

The area of Ukraine that they are from is coal mine country. Even their logo is a coal mining grinding gear.
