Thanks for reaction.Their old intensive ,heavy stuff. Their songs touch on very different often unexpected problems: social ,ecological ,moral, which is quite rare in modern music and this is another side of their uniqueness .And Tatiana is serious and painstaking about writing lyrics . Members of the band was born in Donetsk Region of Ukraine , one of the biggest coal mining regions in Europe .And this song is dedicated to hard work of coal miners.Coal mining was one of the main ways to earn money in this region ,and it was especially hard times for miners in 90's ,when decline of the coal mining industry begun and words "Poverty and hunger are everything that's waiting for you outside " it's not an exaggeration ,it was real life that they experienced in childhood and I think, that's the reason why is this song is so heavy and emotional .This lyrics are deep as coal mine , as well as always in their songs.
Tatiana is a brilliant lyricist. She has a real ability to dive into deeply human shit and find nuggets of wisdom. I also feel like this video should be an example to anyone who does videos of what a lyrics video can be. Captain Clock's official lyrics video is really good too. As others have mentioned, they grew up in the Donbass region of Ukraine which has extensive coal mining.
i guess im asking the wrong place but does any of you know a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can offer me
@Marvin Emory thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and I'm waiting for the hacking stuff atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Great reaction! I am so happy you really got the meaning. Look at the symbol for the band that looks like a fan... it is really a coal processing machine. I have head its the symbol on the machines in the mines in the region they are from.
In Donetsk region for many people coal mines were the only source of income to live and have a food for there families. Also coal miner was the most dangerous work with low level of security (caves crashed often with many victims). The song is dedicated to the coal miners who worked everyday on the edge of life and death.
Outlander and cloud factory are a couple other great songs from this same album this song is on. Well actually they are all good songs lol. Great reaction they have a live performance of this song also that is great
The band is from the now occupied area in eastern Ukraine, from the city Donetsk, which is in one of the largest coal mining industries and one of the most hazardous environments in the world (VERY deep mines, very outdated equipment, no a lot of other ways to make money). Their logo is actually one of those stone / ore crushers used in the mining industry, which is quite ironic given their background and that they are very much environmentally aware. Who Is Gonna Be The One is about environmental activism and Cloud Factory is about pollution the exploitation of our resources (check the official video for it). They fled when Russian forces came closer and have been on tour since then, until corona hit, referring to themselves as tour refugees. The song "Home Back" is about their home and the war.
It's a LIE: "They fled when Russian forces came closer". Jinjer refuges from Ukrainan civil war, when the Ukrainian forces bomb cities & towns of Donetsk & Lugansk regions. You can google the photo of "Novorossia madonna". It's a result of this war crime of the Ukraine forces in the native town of Jinjer (Gorlovka).
Cool reaction! If you were satisfied with the lyrics, I highly recommend that you prepare the lyrics for the next reactions to Jinjer. You will not be disappointed. And as next I suggest Ape official video. On the road to 1000 subscribers I placed my stone :)
Did I recommend this one to you guys?? I've been asking all the reviewers I follow to check on this one... I think it's the song with the most powerful message in all the band's songs. Great you reviewed it!! and great review as well of course!
Ya'll have to do a double reaction to their song judgment and punishment. First do the official music video it just goes perfectly with the theme of the song and then check out Tatiana's one take live vocal performance of J and P.
Yep I'm dropping a 2nd comment there is a version of their song "Home Back" that sounds like Tatiana should absolutely be puking blood on the microphone. Jinjer fans could ya hook it up with that link??
