man ... i live in iraq ....pirated games are more legal than other legal ones ;) there is no fairness in pricing between countries when I was 13 years old, it was impossible for me to buy a game for $60 when my father's average monthly income was "700$" -_- thanks to pirated games...I was able to play hundreds of games...literally!! thanks the video :)
Ay, never expected to find a fellow Iraqi. Are you using Linux? (it's a stupid question I know but just making sure) if yes I got a couple of questions, one being is pirating games on there easy? Installing games this way is not just for hacked or pirated games. It is the only way it seems to install games you actually own and are not buying a lease with the many communities to play it such as Steam made a big deal about just weeks ago.
Also you can download pre installed games that are just in a zip file. That doesn't go through any installer. You just run them through lutris and set up the wine prefix which is standard. Recently downloaded cracked rdr game for pc. Unzipped the game and it loaded in lutris just fine. I use Ubuntu but lutris is available everywhere and easy to work with.
Huh? I use Flatpak Heroic and Bottles all the time. It works just fine. Granted, I always use SteamUnlocked so I don't need to install anything, and I always put stuff in ~/Games ~/Downloads or ~/Documents
Try asking in your distro's forum. Alot of the users in the reddits are beard pushing egotistical maniacs with a passion for the manual. The manual is for power users not someone trying to install an OS. That's what drives new users away.
got gta sa from a totally legal site a few days ago, been playing it nonstop since than, its so much fun, i wanted to switch back to linux lately but was reluctant because i thought i would lose the ability to play it. you really can do anything on linux these days. thank you for this my friend
I do run some GOG games through Heroic Games Launcher, but I kind of like Bottles better for some reason. Maybe because it has more runners to choose from. I rarely pirate stuff anymore, I just wait until a game I like becomes dirt cheap, and regarding software, I just use FOSS. But there was one game I played recently that I was tired of waiting on getting a better price, and since it was a singleplayer only game I gave it a look. And Since I've sunk 70+ hours into this Neuromancer inspired scifi game, I'm definitely going to buy it eventually. And it was incredibly easy to setup using Bottles of course, just install it (worst part because of Inno Setup) and run it.
i reccomend using a search engine that is not google, or bing, or big tech as they censor results through a DMCA the browser and search engine i use is brave and brave search
