For sure. They took a great original and gave it an awesome remix. I think the 3DS final battle themes are my current Top 3 (counting Fates' three as one since only the lyrics differ).
Honestly i think that dragon Gate is actually a really good song , in my opinion its one of the best final Map theme but i Can understand that he put him low
Also, I feel Congregation of Ambition is a lot better than people give it credit for. It gives you a feeling of the battle you're facing and gives off powerful vibes. It also has the tiny moment of insanity as you realize that Mad King Ashnard is sitting atop his mount, waiting for you. I think it should have gone right under a grasping truth.
Ramb Ounet Haha yeah it was rather easy. Then again, most Fire Emblem final battles are pretty easy. Most of them are just running up to the final boss and kicking it's ass! The only ones that actually takes awhile are FE1/11, FE2, FE4 (everything takes awhile in FE4), FE5 and FE9.
Fire Emblem 8 also had a pretty tough last chapter and Formortiis was a good final boss imo ^^ But i think my favorite final battle of all fe must be Fe1/Fe11. It was long, challenging and had really good music.

I don't really know my favourite one to play, I can tell you which it isn't though: FE5, that one was a major headache. It was super annoying and took forever, you have to defeat difficult enemies standing on some switches that you need to put your own units on after defeating the enemy. It was a cool concept but it was rather annoying :/
+Ramb Ounet I have to say, I hate how I can beat the final chapter in 2 turns but Future Past 3 takes me about 7 turns. I'm not to fond of the Final Level having the same theme as the final boss. In my opinions, I think Id (Hope) was a great final boss theme. Fates final chapter theme, I'll give an exception to.
Yeah, Holy War was better than Forbidden Sanctuary. And PoR's final map theme was kinda lacking imo. It may be my favourite and your first game, but in therms of Final map theme it gets beaten pretty bad
I would reverse half of this list, that's how different our tastes are. I hate a lot of songs you put higher. Holy War (Mystery of Emblem) would be bottom to me. Path of Divine Generals, Congregation of Ambition, Doluna Keep and Dragon's Gate II would be my top 5, although I haven't heard Fire Emblem 8 and 11 and Fates final stage music before so I would not be putting them into consideration here.
