+Kwatcher100: Wrong. Id(Hope) is the Future Past DLC boss theme. It never plays ANYWHERE in the main game, much less during the final battle. Id(Purpose) is both the map AND battle theme for the final level, just like A Grasping Truth is for Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn.
I loved it! I beat it yesterday actually and the whole game was really fun, probably my favourite Fire Emblem game, it's either Awakening or Genealogy of the Holy way :)
Hardin's battle theme is really good :) I've included it in another list of mine with the antagonists' battle themes such as Nergal, the Black Knight and others :)
Just putting this out there, if you discount awakening, there ARE only 10 final boss themes. 1/11 and 3b2/12 had the same ending themes. Not that Fire emblem isn't rife with badass music, just putting that out there.
Yeah I know, I like putting the number of content in my list though so that people can get an idea how long it is :) I realise I didn't do it in this particular video, but I usually write that I use the newest version of a theme if there are games that use the same.

ChaDav8 Also Awakening's theme isn't really a boss theme, more of a final map theme. Final bosses always have unique themes, and FE13 just so happens not to have any unique themes. Never heard a battle theme which is completely independent in FE13. The list is true as it is.

The map themes actually change a little during battles so I guess they intended for the it to be map/battle theme. Just a minute, holy crap I was wrong about marth's DLC. It doesn't get c ranks, it can get you anywhere from heal staves to some pretty insane stuff. I've already gotten a brave sword, a fortify, and a second seal in only about 3-4 playthroughs of the map. So my recommendation for it goes double. If nothing else, you can sell the stuff for cash. Not to mention the DLC is free for the first month it's out.
But we have villains like Alvis, Lyon, and Hardin. They're all pretty cool, though sacred stones does sorta force the whole "man, isn't Lyon such a great guy" thing. Down your throughout, They're all still pretty solid tragic villains though. Compare them to Idoun, whose just some dragon that can make other dragons, and everything we learn about her is in an exposition dumb in the final chapter.
Alvis is just an asshole? Perhaps somewhat, but he was more so misguided. He saw a lot of corruption and violence in Grandbell and he legitimately wanted to have peace, he just thought the only way to do that was to take over the world himself. Apparently the world even was peaceful for a little bit, but since the King said that Alvis's son would take over when he was old enough (since he's the King's actual descendant) and since Julius is kinda the anti-Christ, things kind of went to shit. That, plus Alvis realizing that he was just a puppet in Manfroy's schemes and that Dierdre was his sister, it basically completely broke him. But no. Idoun getting her emotions taken away? Much more tragic and interesting. What a deep character Idoun is! Sory for being kind of a dick, but Alvis is my favorite Villain in the series. Even if he killed my second favorite lord.
I usually use around 10-15 characters or something and don't really bother to use the other characters at all, but I have a feeling that I'll use most of the characters in this game, the only other fire emblem game I've done that in was FE4. Well for the annotation about Awakening, Grima doesn't have a theme because Id: Propose is always played in ''Endgame'' whether you fight him or the Grimleal.
I also liked the music when you go against Dark Emperor Hardin. Does that count as a final boss theme since it could be if you don't collect all of the orbs for the Shield of Seals.
Yeah, I'm currently checking my game at about 1 hour intervals for new master seals to promote my units. No matter which fe I play, I always train like 6-8 characters to ridiculous extremes instead of balancing it out. Some tips: 1, use gaius for lockpicking, keys are few and far between. 2, villages in marth's DLC are great for farming c-rank items and EXP for early game. 3, spotpass teams can be summoned, fought, and bought from an indefinate amount of times. Abuse this for rare items/EXP.
what difficulty did you beat it on? Genealogy of the Holy war is one of my favorites too. its just really hard. Just some advice if you are going to play on lunatic in awakening Use Frederick. after you unlock the outrealms you do't need him anymore

I didn't like the Final Boss theme Id (Purpose) for Awakening as the Final boss theme, I thought Id (Hope) during Future Past 3 when you fight Grima was much better. You should listen to that instead.

In no particular order, my three favorites would have to be the one from New Mystery of the Emblem, Echoes (maybe), and End of All from Fates.

Idoun was a terrible final boss, yet she gets the most badass theme in Fuuin No Tsurugi...
sad really if only she had 1 2 range, Ignored defense, had 150 hp etc.
