I've played FF4, FF5, FF6, FF7 & FF9. My rankings are: 5. One Winged Angel - Overrated song, just like the game and the soundtrack themselves. There are some great parts in the song, but they're sandwiched by some boring parts as well. Ultimately, the song is unnecessarily long, especially since you'll probably defeat him before hearing the whole thing anyway. 4. Neo Exdeath's Theme - Very energetic, but too one-note for my liking to be higher up the list. I actually prefer Exdeath's normal theme over this one. 3. Dancing Mad - A little overrated like One Winged Angel, but I actually like this song. I just don't think this and One Winged Angel are the 2 best FF songs of all time. I like all 4 parts, but my favourites are the first and fourth part. 2. Necron's Theme - Fantastic creepy intro and a banging start to the track once the battle begins. Good mix of creepy, sinister and sci-fi vibes all meshed into one to make this a great song. 1. Zeromus' Theme - Epic and an absolute banger. I can imagine just how impressive it was to compose a song like this back in '91 for a SNES title.

It's insane how you only really fight a true Dark Dragon once in all of Kaga's Fire Emblem games. Medeus is just an Earth Dragon in FE1, and Duma is a Divine Dragon that's degenerated into a Fell God. Julius has Loptous' power, sure but he himself is not a true 100% Dark Dragon. Medeus is the only tried and true Dark Dragon you ever face and honestly that alone is worth distinguishing him from the rest.
