What about the Hellcat Pro? The 5 mag/range kit package for $756.08 out the door today at my LGS. RFX 11Green dot optic by Viridian on the pistol at purchase as well. Hard to beat that imo.
I used to not like short grips, until I started carrying. It's extremely unlikely that the average US citizen will get into a self defense scenario which requires a reload (unless you have less than 10 rounds), and It's much more comfortable and concealable to have that short grip. I probably wouldn't carry anything bigger than a Shield Plus, unless I carried it in a large CCW fanny pack.
PSA has magazines for their Micro Dagger that are 15 rounds and you don't need to replace the mag release in your Glock 43x like you do for the shield mags.
I have all these guns, the glock 43x and hellcat would fatigue my hand from recoil stress after 200 rounds or less , so i put a agency arms drop in ported barrel on my glock 43x lake line stainless guide rod and a hogue grip gun fires all day long now and no hand fatigue quite notiicable less muzzle flip 43x with shield mags now on par with sig p365 comp
All of those are fantastic choices. However, my personal favorite that I currently conceal is my new Kimber 1911 CDS9 Micro. It's such an amazing little pistol.
Sig p365 xl spectre. Holosun eps carry. Streamlight tlr7 sub. Vedder side car holster with the 17 rd mag in it. Hunter Constantine belt. 4000+ rds in. No complaints. My favorite. Damn, i didnt think they were gonna even mention Sig 😅 i commented with this 😤 energy 😅😂😅😂
I had the original Hellcat but traded it in on an Echelon. The trigger and grip size on the Hellcat just wasn’t for me. It was very hard to be accurate with it. Heavy, heavy trigger. The Echelon is a tack driver. Being 6 feet tall and 275 pounds it’s easy to carry.
....in the same time....we can all go on a tangent and always bring that "other" full size gun that will always be better than a micro - the subject of this video being "...Concealed Carry Guns ..."
@ My full size gun is my concealed carry. I won’t carry anything under a four inch barrel. Why neuter your weapon. I’m a veteran and I’m comfortable with a real weapon, not a pea shooter!!! The title was concealed carry, not micro concealed carry!
@@BabaNovac792concealed carry is the title not compact not micro compact and well i and everyone is know conceal carries full size guns just say you're 5'6 and 95 lbs and move along
lol me and you have the same build I’m 6.5 feet tall and around 275. My thing is tho my fingers are small but my palms are normal size so I don’t know what handgun I want for my size when I turn 21 in a few months
Every Gun reviewer now is saying what they should’ve been saying when they first reviewed the G43 X it’s a snappy Gun! they pretended it wasn’t but now that they’ve moved on they feel comfortable saying it
Maybe it wasnt considered because its a 380, but the bodyguard 2.0 is everything my rotation was missing. 1 lb loaded, amazing for gym shorts/joggers. I thought it would at least make the honorable mention... There's so many great options though, great time for 2A supporters.
380 is pretty meh yes I know it will do the job but realistically youre hindering your ballistics for what a smaller gun? There's plenty of small 9mm that are super controllable and similar if not more capacity at a slight weight increase, if it's a weight thing then run it or invest in a decent pair of joggers/shorts designed to be carried with
@lucasschmitz4588 12 rounds of 380 at just over 1 lb is tough to beat for my intentions. It's just something to pocket carry around the house where I'm always in joggers or gym shorts. I still EDC my G26 most often and owb a G19 or G17 in the winter... Because there was a female shooter in the video I thought she'd bring it up. It's a perfect edc shooter for smaller people. After shooting it, my mom and daughter are both getting their CCW permits. The thing's a gem.
@@Q.Wright what grain weights 380 as there's many companies making very light 9mm underwood for example has a 70gr solid copper hp moving at like 1700fps average out of 4.5 inch barrels liberty ammo or who ever makes the overwatch line of ammo that's 50gr 9mm hp moving at 2000fps underwood also has the 90gr extreme defender g9 has a 80gr solid copper EHP it's not that hard to beat if you start looking hard enough
@lucasschmitz4588 I use 99 grain federal hst in 380. I don't have an issue with recoil. There's just no reliable 9mm platform that I can get that would give me a similar 10-12 round capacity and only be 1 lb loaded. Again, it's a gym short gun, and it may become an ankle gun in the future for me.
Sophia won because she didn't put a Hellcat in her lineup, plus Kaya forfeited by not actually having his #1 available. #1 CCW option is obviously a suppressed Honey Badger. Everything else is a compromise, and the xMacro has the least compromise to concealment ratio.
I got the MC9 and the X-Macro, and I disagree with you except for the trigger which is just slightly better in the Canik imo. The SIG is just absolutely butter smooth and WAY more accurate than the MC9. I love how the MC9 carries and it’s my main platform for nighttime carry (I got a holosun and a flashlight on it) but the SIG is just perfect for everything else, and the stock irons are incredible.
@albenrir I got comfy with the Canik trigger super fast. SIG 364XL does have a comfortable grip but I couldn't get the trigger pull. My buddy swears by his 365 too. It would've been my go to if Canik didn't exist. I have the TP9 SC.
Got the glock 43x i upgraded the magazines and the trigger and the sights and this will be the gun i own for the rest of my life to protect my home and self!
Forgot the HK CC9. Shot one, own the FN Reflex. Gave the reflex away. Also, the HK VP9SK. To me, its easily more ergonomic that any other pistol you guys mentioned.
I agree but Glock just doesn’t innovate anymore. Although they really don’t have to but honestly if they threw a light rail on the G26 and came out with the MOS version of it years ago, I don’t think we would be discussing other guns right now.
@@Ol5tb Yeah! I’ll say this, this is the first time in history (1982-2018 which is a damn good run though) where Glock has dropped the ball for innovation too many times but it goes unnoticed because GLOCKS JUST WORK.
I like the Sig x macro fuse or regular with pmm comp and the shadow systems cr920xp which to me shoots softer than some of my full size pistols if you can get past the break in its a great gun mine took about 500 rounds before I had no problems at all. Since that 500 rounds I’ve had no issues out of 1000 since the break in. So if you have one be patient your copy may need more than the 200 they advertise
Thank you Sophia for your appearance on this top 5 fight. I really enjoy the lady’s perspective on firearms and it’s been sorely missed on CF podcast since Kaydi left. I hope we get to see you again. I think I like Sofia’s #1 pic better than Kaya’s.
I find the 43X to be snappy as well, and get a trigger finger blister after shooting 100+ rounds. The S&W Equalizer is much softer, but also bigger and not as concealable for me. I'm wondering about the recoil on the Shield Plus? Any better than the Glock?
🥱 I don't know if you didn't include S&W Bodyguard 2.0 because of .380-phobia, but it deserves a place. 12 rounds in a frame HALF the size/weight of some of these, and half the cost. It shoots incredibly, due to the low bore axis, and fits my big hand like a glove. It's replaced my G43x, as I can carry comfortably in shorts with a Vedder Lighttuck. It's the last conceal carry pistol I will ever buy. It's just perfect.
I have a vast array of carry pistols of all sizes and the one that I used to carry 99% the time was a little .380 pocket pistol. Picking a gun that you will actually carry every single day regardless of what you are wearing is critical. As the saying goes, the .22 in your pocket is worth more than the .45 in the truck. I recently switched to the original P365. Not because it fit my large hands the best or had the most rounds, but because the size ensures I will always carry it. It is very small for an 11 round 9mm even with an optic and still has plenty grip for a good feel. I can carry it holstered in my pocket or appendix carry even with skin tight shirts. This is critical as any carry pistol will spend 95% or more of the time holstered. Too many people pick carry pistols based on grip size as if they will shoot it daily. You will carry it 95% and range shoot it 5%. The focus should be on the 95%, not the 5%.
How in the world did the new Canik MC9LS not make this video? It outshoots, holds more ammo, and has a better trigger than most all the guns mentioned in this video.

S&w shield plus PC, Kimber mako, Kimber kds9c, iwi Masada slim, Walther pdp compact.
Thank you for Classic Firearms for your continued approval of my p365 purchase
My carry is the P365 Xmacro. I'm going to take a look at the compensated XL
I love the 365 but I completely love the FN REFLEX. Super accurate - not one hiccup in hundreds of rounds. Love this gun!
I went for the p365 tacops with extended slide release flared mag well and 7 x 17 mags included
I sometimes carry my wife's Walther P22q with Federal Punch ammo on days my IWI Jericho feels heavy. It is an awesome combo.
Every Gun reviewer now is saying what they should’ve been saying when they first reviewed the G43 X it’s a snappy Gun! they pretended it wasn’t but now that they’ve moved on they feel comfortable saying it
Sophia was great and really made me lol during a hard w/out... Her choices were all good, beating Kaya, barely, regarding #1 choice!✌🏼
I carry a Staccato CS. Hard to beat that little pistol.
@Q.Wright like I said previously yes there are you just gotta look or buy a pair of shorts designed to be carried in which they make
I’m guessing Kaya’s hand stippling is his version of Clint being obsessed with his MK18
Surprised no mention of the CZ Shadow 3 Compact?
😮 Breaking news ???
“Smith and Messon”??? @ 5:30 😅😅 funny catch
Sophia won because she didn't put a Hellcat in her lineup, plus Kaya forfeited by not actually having his #1 available.
#1 CCW option is obviously a suppressed Honey Badger.
Everything else is a compromise, and the xMacro has the least compromise to concealment ratio.
HI, Fia! I follow your channel. Glad to see you stretching out and getting well-deserved recognition!

Give that man a merroir, he never looks into it without falling love.
5. Taurus
4. M&P
3. Tie
2. Hellcat Pro but the Reflex is close
1. I'd go with the Canik Mete MC9 over the 365 XL
Great picks guys! Loved the vid
cant wait to see a sa/da concealed carry top 5!
Wow! Congrats to SAR USA for making the top 3. Little known company that seems to make great handguns.
Insane prices right now on SAR handguns. At least as of a couple days ago. $250 I think and it comes with a whole bundle.
@@lz_377 I know! I have been debating if I should get one. I really want the SAR9 CX Platinum one.
Great video, like all the picks. I also find the Glock 43x very snappy but I still have it in my carry rotation along with Sig P365 XL.
Shield plus #1!
Though im surprised no Compact sized would be on these lists vs the micro compacts for "winter" carry (maybe another list is needed!)
Got the glock 43x i upgraded the magazines and the trigger and the sights and this will be the gun i own for the rest of my life to protect my home and self!
Give us more of this... the "X'ual" tension between these 2 is fantastic... have fun you 2. Hope to see you both more often
Forgot the HK CC9. Shot one, own the FN Reflex. Gave the reflex away. Also, the HK VP9SK. To me, its easily more ergonomic that any other pistol you guys mentioned.
They seem to leave HK off lists…but most are older except CC9
CZ p10c
Forever Glock 26
I agree but Glock just doesn’t innovate anymore. Although they really don’t have to but honestly if they threw a light rail on the G26 and came out with the MOS version of it years ago, I don’t think we would be discussing other guns right now.
@popa213 Agreed. Although they are close to perfection as a tool, they could be a lot quicker with refinements.
@@popa213why does it need to innovate when the G26 gen 3 is the perfect CCW.
🤨nah…. I’m so done with glock…
@@Ol5tb Yeah! I’ll say this, this is the first time in history (1982-2018 which is a damn good run though) where Glock has dropped the ball for innovation too many times but it goes unnoticed because GLOCKS JUST WORK.
Dude my homie just got the G4C TAURUS torro. and its nice. With a reddot i could believe how nice it was
No such thing as a G4C
The FN reflex is a beauty.
Legend has it this man hand-stippled the hilt of Excalibur
I carry a gx4 and G3c every day yes glad to see Taurus in the top 5
Great banter, love to see more of her! Fantastic top 5 as always CF!
No shadow systems CR920xp?
Great job/choices by both of you!
How in the world did the new Canik MC9LS not make this video? It outshoots, holds more ammo, and has a better trigger than most all the guns mentioned in this video.
His number five pick is three guns lol. His number to pick his three guns oh my God. and what a surprise you both picked the thing 365 is number one lol😢
