Isn't it odd how Manson and Corgan started to speak to one another after this interview. I thank the guy who asked the question. Now we get to see two amazing artist tour this summer!
Billy did help him out with Mechanical Animals. I believe he wrote the composition for The Speed of Pain and I heard Rock is Dead, but Billy didn’t ask or writing credits with Manson or with Hole’s Celebrity Skin where he wrote Malibu and more, just like Kurt wrote the good stuff like Doll Parts on Live Through This.
What i like the most about the guy is how kind he is in his interviews. Even to catholic panelists, his views are critical but never personal or dismissive. By example the guy has proven he is very authentic
People look at marilyn manson an pass judgement on him based solely on his appearance. If people looked past that and actually paid attention to him in his interviews, he is actually just an incredibly grounded and logical person. Now im not a manson superfan or anything (i do like some of his work, not all) but he is very well spoken and has a lot of great views and solutions to problems etc.
Lol really? You do realize he has “little boy lover” tattoo symbols all over him and uses humor to deflect the fact he sodomizes children and drinks their blood (adrenochrome). People are asleep!
@CHR7ST0FF3R but we should keep bothering. It upsets them when we talk about it so let’s keep. Prayers for the ones who cannot see and actively choose to worship the devils workers
Haha, Marilyn's great. He seems so dry, but mostly he's just being facetious. I'm a fan from early on, and the first 4 records are badass. I met him, and he was really cool and engaging.
@@leetorry Corey is such an amazing dude, I love him. Gerard way is so down to earth and honest, love love him and the entirety of MCR. Marilyn Manson is interesting, I think he's super well spoken and honest, although there are things he has done that disinterest me. Not a huge Manson fan but I respect him to an extent.
I like the fact that Larry King doesn't seem intimidated by his whole persona and does a good job interviewing him and keeping things fun and also he seems to be interested in him. I have always found him quite scary and very mysterious and I don't know much about him at all but I think he would be one of those people that would be really cool and intriguing to know in person.
He had me rolling about the Charlie Brown looking dude from smashing pumpkins, and talking about eating fruits and vegetables and the teddy bear part. Haha!
As an African American kid I used to listen to him in the late 90's-2000's and amazed at how different he was but my mom hated him and always said he looks like a skin head mom it's just a look. He looks like a super laid back person.
I love Manson. He seems like the type guy that'd be cool to meet and hang out with. Twiggy too. They are both very honest and down-to-earth people that I have a lot of respect for.
Manson is a genius! I'm not a huge fan a rap music but really respect the talent of Kayne West and Jay Z. Very cool that Manson recognizes other talent. Manson never acts all high and mighty because he doesn't have to. He is smart, articulate, and most of all probably one of the most influential artist to date. I know people will obviously debate that.
Amazing how many people don't understand that you don't have to necessarily 'like' a person's art to appreciate and admire their gifts and talent.Larry King can say that Jay Z and Kanye and brilliant and talented, and mean it. Doesn't mean he's bumping "Gold Digger" in his car on the way home.
Wow, so many haters here. Fist off, Manson wasn't intentionally trying to insult Corgan, he meant it as a joke, nothing hurtful in the least. I respect Corgan and think he is very intelligent with music, but if he did in fact take that whole Charlie Brown joke seriously, then he obviously isn't too bright with people. Secondly, how can you hate on Manson's looks and style of music? He takes inspiration from the legends, like Alice Cooper, Kiss, and Black Sabbath. If you're going to hate on his make up and style, then you obviously hate the legends as well. Alice Cooper wears the stage goth make up, does he not? Kiss wears full on face paint and monster platform boots, right? Black Sabbath dressed as if they were Satanists, and their song Mr. Crowley was one of major controversy. Manson just took what he saw and loved, and created his own style and dress. His music may sound different than Cooper's, but it's still around the same genre, with the horror aspects and shock appeal. Besides, Manson is a celebrity, someone with money and fame - Two things most of you haters don't have. For the Manson lovers, thank you for still sticking by his music and awesomeness.

@00:38 "What are you doing to remain relevant to younger fans as your older fans get older?" "Chuckle...Being on Larry King." Quite possibly THE funniest answer to any question ever asked. EVER.
The photography in this interview is so great. I love how in the reflection of MM's glasses you can see his hands and Larry King's reactions. Also when LK said he never tried ketchup with grilled cheese it seemed like him telling MM that MM was an idiot, like putting ketchup on a steak or something.
When I was 15 beautiful people came out.. My Father was furious I listed to Manson music.. as a father of a 14 year old son now myself.. lol I understand it now. He's a beautiful person in everything out says and does.. From his, music, art, Columbine comment to his role on SOA!
I dip mine in Franks Red Hot Ketchup, and I use a slice of pepperjack with a slice of peperoni munster. I go fucking crazy with my grilled cheese, cause I'm nucking futs.
And now we know the cause of Larry's five heart attacks. I mean, come on. They're good, but a _perfect_ sandwich? At least something savory or aromatic to go with the melange of fatty soft goo and carbs would be nice.
All of us will just grow old together!!!!! Those songs in the beginning will ALWAYS be our battle cries they just grow to different levels for different reasons in our lives as we get older but still listen to them!!!!!! And with new ones today!!!! 💋🤘🖤
A Salty Pannon Nope. He has his own persona, which people think is weird. Yeah he's weird all the way to the bank, but clowns of society think Bieber isn't weird but he's a felon literally and a lunatic. Manson has never been to jail, never been bankrupt, rich and is intelligent.... You're right he is weird when you look at most Americans haha.
In real life Kanye seems so utterly consumed with his own self and how he's God's gift to everyone, and Marilyn Manson always seemed way more down to earth. I'm surprised Manson actually has admiration for Kanye.
in real life you or i dont know kanye enough to say anything like that. personally i believe he is so imersed with art in general it makes him come off as being a dick. he wants us to appreciate art and performance art in the way he does.
midnight15086 He's outspoken and eccentric, thats all. No big deal. He didn't kill anyone or hurt anyone. Certain people are just blunt with their opinions and they don't have the ability to sugar coat reality as they see it. Personally, I think he's a great musician and artist and thats the only medium we know Kanye in and thats the only medium we can truly judge him in.
I think Kanye is a good artist, I just think that from the bits and pieces I've seen of him offstage that he seems completely full of himself and super materialistic and has his head up his ass. Like if someone started a Church of Kanye he would probably eagerly agree to reign as lord and say I welcome you all, humble minions. But as an artist, sure he's good. Even in his lyrics though he makes subtle references where he compares himself to God. So... yeah.
"In fairness he does look like Charlie Brown" I died

As a kid I thought he was so creepy but when I saw him in Bowling for Columbine he was so much more than what I expected. It taught me a lesson not to judge. From everything I’ve seen he seems like such a humble, thoughtful cool guy.
And then now we know he really is a creep. It comes full circle.

"What are you doing to remain relevant to younger fans as your older fans get older?"
"Chuckle...Being on Larry King."
Quite possibly THE funniest answer to any question ever asked. EVER.
Guess who's going to jail tonight
That didn't age well for Manson
@@Enjoythesilence21 he's literally not going to jail though
@@Shadamyfan-rs8xc I know lmao
Yeah… wow lol
Holy shit, that was very well put. You have restored my faith in TH-cam comments.
I think he and Madonna would do a amazing song together
The photography in this interview is so great. I love how in the reflection of MM's glasses you can see his hands and Larry King's reactions. Also when LK said he never tried ketchup with grilled cheese it seemed like him telling MM that MM was an idiot, like putting ketchup on a steak or something.
hahahaha MArilyn is super funny
and gay muahahhaha
salikosnatural sali gay = good!
Tiger Birdy Only if your gay
johny johnson
hahahhaha true
He is a fool
His laugh at 0:36 - 0:38 is the cutest 😊
I was thinking the exact same thing! The Charlie Brown thing was fucking hilarious-- of course Billy would be pissed.
“Be on Larry King” 😂
When I was 15 beautiful people came out..
My Father was furious I listed to Manson music.. as a father of a 14 year old son now myself.. lol I understand it now. He's a beautiful person in everything out says and does..
From his, music, art, Columbine comment to his role on SOA!
Manson's Fav food: Cheese Sandwich. What NON-Metal-Heads expected: People
Luv u Marilyn...
Kill Kill Kill 4 U...
This man is obviously very intelligent.
1:47 MM says he usually forgets to eat
2:17 - you can hear his stomach making noise lmfao
FACT: a grilled cheese sandwich dipped in ketchup is the ultimate sandwich. try it and tell me i'm wrong.
It is. I was surprised Larry King does not dip his in Ketchup. I HAVE to have ketchup with it or it is no good.
I dip mine in Franks Red Hot Ketchup, and I use a slice of pepperjack with a slice of peperoni munster. I go fucking crazy with my grilled cheese, cause I'm nucking futs.
i like grilled cheese.. but peanut butter and banana is pretty fucking good to.
Pink Floyd for life
And now we know the cause of Larry's five heart attacks.
the weirdest most eloquent guy I've heard today
+SoldierCyfix Weird is based on individual opinions.
+Godless Libertarian yeah, and his is that he is weird?
"opinions are opinions" uhm ok?
A Salty Pannon Nope. He has his own persona, which people think is weird. Yeah he's weird all the way to the bank, but clowns of society think Bieber isn't weird but he's a felon literally and a lunatic. Manson has never been to jail, never been bankrupt, rich and is intelligent.... You're right he is weird when you look at most Americans haha.
+SoldierCyfix He is sarcastic, FUNNY/CHEEKY and intelegent - I adore his interviews!!
+SoldierCyfix yet in real life not so much. He actually is a huge user and has fucked over everyone who put him were he is today.
RIP LARRY
Marilyn: "I had a crush on her."
Larry: "She's a great promoter."
hahaha yes, Larry!
I love the reflection shot of Larry in Marilyn's aviators.
In real life Kanye seems so utterly consumed with his own self and how he's God's gift to everyone, and Marilyn Manson always seemed way more down to earth. I'm surprised Manson actually has admiration for Kanye.
in real life you or i dont know kanye enough to say anything like that. personally i believe he is so imersed with art in general it makes him come off as being a dick.
he wants us to appreciate art and performance art in the way he does.
euroaaRON1 I meant real life like in interviews as opposed to on stage.
And Beck to gave him admiration lol But I think sometimes artists are a little afraid to start shit.
midnight15086 He's outspoken and eccentric, thats all.
So... yeah.
I can see the reflection of Larry King in Marilyn Manson's glasses!
that charlie brown joke is so me
been a fan of his since i was 9, i hope to meet him one day
what kanye west song are they talking about?
Black Skinhead
