A beautiful intelligent person. Willing to reflect to ourselves our own self through his art and personality. Rarely people realised...if he makes you uncomfortable at all...you’re simply looking at your own reflection.
I have always been a fan of Marilyn Manson he is smart talented and has a brain, he also likes my idol David Bowie big plus. This interview by Larry King gave Marilyn a chance to just talk with a very good interviewer in a relaxed human way. He came off shy, introspective, thoughtful, smart, funny, and most of all real. One of the best talk interview shows I've seen in a while. Cheers
It was not easy being a fan of his during the 90s or now. His work and art are priceless to so many. He and JD will always have a place to paint, read, and rock out at my home.
Here I am 40yrs old and still a huge Manson fan. Business owner, family man with a mortgage and a travel trailer. Only difference is that I went from "you just don't understand dad!", to "how can you listen to that son?".
Very intelligent, my mother got me on him young. She use to listen to him and a lot of other classic music while I was in my booster seat in the back seat. Thank God my parents got me on great music. Would love to chat with him like this and paint with him
No. It was an instinctual homophobic reaction and the a joke to cover both that up and calm Larry down because he saw Larry actually thought he offended him.
Today's"Cancel Culture" is an absolute disgrace...SMH... Every sad and miserable person is just waiting for the opportunity to ruin more careers and reputations...our society has gotten way out of control with mindless followers as the majority..

Watching in 2020. This is the greatest interview ever. I cried and I'm a pretty tough guy. He is so beautiful and amazing to hear about. Thanks so much.
They say don't judge a book by it's cover, yet we all do it. I was never a fan of his music, I'm a musical theatre guy, but I can appreciate the theatrics of his performances. Seeing his response to that question in the Columbine movie made me a different person.
Larry's the only interviewer that's become almost always more interesting than the people he interviews. Manson:"One of my idols is Salvatore Dali-" Larry: "I knew him."
L. King is the greatest interviewer. Respectful to all his guests and knows how to get personal without making them uncomfortable. Marilyn opened up a lot, and more importantly, he didn't waste the whole time having to defend his work.

Marylin Manson has & will always be an inspiration to me! He’s not afraid to be himself, speak his Own truth! I’m always delighted to see that he’s able to rise above most people who interview him showing his smarts! I stand by him & with him. So talented it’s crazy! Love his uniqueness!
I teared up when he talked about his mom💔
Me too. I wasn't expecting such a candid and personal answer. Marilyn/Brian wasn't holding anything back here. I wanted to give him a big hug at that point.
Beautiful person and the way he speaks about his mom, heartbreaking and so lovingly♡
I love how happy Larry King gets about "Salvadore Dolly Parton"
"Art should be a question, not an answer" I always loved him, I never knew how smart and insightful he was until I started watching his interviews.
Dude is smart, genuine and funny. I wouldn't mind having a real conversation with him
The art of war
The war of art
Two great books!
A great album by AHC to 😁
Life imitates art ..art imitates life !!??
Yes they are war or art was a book someone told me to read as an artist...amazing

@@ayesha__13 Mostly recommended by Joe Rogan now - one of the most successful modern artists!
Cheers
Let me just say, he has excellent taste in music…. David Bowie, Prince, Alice Cooper❤️
It was not easy being a fan of his during the 90s or now. His work and art are priceless to so many.
He and JD will always have a place to paint, read, and rock out at my home.
Jimmy dean? I like sausage too!!!
"A man who needs no introduction."
Proceeds to introduce Marilyn Manson.
I love the respect with which Larry conducts this conversation
I really love a quote of his “i always try drugs to remind myself i don’t need them”
Does Manson have a podcast? I feel like he would be really good as an interviewer.
Before he started his band, he was a music journalist!
Absolutely love him. Love the new music. Keep rocking
Despite what anyone's opinion is on him...he so well spoken.
Would love to chat with him like this and paint with him
"I didn't know if you were asking me on a date"... brilliant come back. Marilyn Manson is so eloquent!
No. It was an instinctual homophobic reaction and the a joke to cover both that up and calm Larry down because he saw Larry actually thought he offended him.
@@rogerweaver875 We all have our opinions and perceptions, don't we?
Today's"Cancel Culture" is an absolute disgrace...SMH... Every sad and miserable person is just waiting for the opportunity to ruin more careers and reputations...our society has gotten way out of control with mindless followers as the majority..
1984 is here
Thanks. 😌
Why did it take them 4 years to upload the full interview?
Broman Entertainment I suspect the upload has more to do with Manson’s latest album charting so well. More channel views or click throughs at least due to heightened relevance.

Copy right !!
I had bad feelings towards Manson but watching him has changed my mind he’s philosophical
Marylin Manson is litterally such a smart man
I’m 58 and had no idea we were that close in age. I like this guy and always have. Hard to explain, I don’t listen to his music but I’ve enjoyed listening to his interviews and think that he’d be fascinating to talk to. I think we could actually be friends despite coming from two entirely different worlds. I wish him the best.
I’m so sick of Larry king cutting people off in the middle of a sentence
He doesn't cut them off to be rude, it's just that they have a time limit and so many questions to be answered
meh... honestly... he did better then many. and he also took time to relate to manson in some ways that others really don't... they just target manson for info.
larry "i undrestand that", or "grilled cheese is the greatest"... like he really did treat Manson more as a person then many interviewers do, even if he still got down to business for the show...
@@demisequest9443 But it was his own fault to not reduce the amount of questions so all the answers fitted in a 25-minute interview in a natural way.
" no she wasnt a villain" love this line
Marilyn is such an intelligent being. I love to see when they interview hard rock/metalheads because is mindblowing how smart they are. Well spoken and compose Marilyn!
King: "Would you like to start a family?.. do you want to be married?"
MANSON: [realizes his gf is probably sitting in front of the TV on the couch watching this interview]
MANSON: *GULP*
Surprised he hasn't popped the question
Anyone who dates Manson is so lucky
I have seen many interviews and this is my favorite. Manson is actually acting normal. He's not shy nor trying to get a rise out of Larry. All the talk show interviews I've seen he's been weird/shy. Maybe this one of very few he wasn't high.
Watching in 2020. This is the greatest interview ever. I cried and I'm a pretty tough guy. He is so beautiful and amazing to hear about. Thanks so much.
i love how he describes his stage name.
When he showed Poe I was expecting from Larry to say that he was a great man, and he interviewed him.
That made me laugh, thank you.
Lol
I was drinking coffee and that got a spit take. Bravo
😂😂
Love the honesty that comes out of Marilyn, such talent and yet so misunderstood. Under pressure
“Do you think your understood?”
No, I think I’m understood differently by everyone . Awesome 👏🏻
It's crazy how people start hating people based on first impressions
They say don't judge a book by it's cover, yet we all do it.
I was never a fan of his music, I'm a musical theatre guy, but I can appreciate the theatrics of his performances. Seeing his response to that question in the Columbine movie made me a different person.
@@justinm2697 yeah I soo relate to u...his view on life changed my view on life a bit
Larry's the only interviewer that's become almost always more interesting than the people he interviews. Manson:"One of my idols is Salvatore Dali-" Larry: "I knew him."
And I interviewed him!
Marilyn Manson, one of the most intelligent men to ever grace us with their existence.
this interview is great, never new much about marilyn mason but this clears a lot up, seems like a genuine guy
L. King is the greatest interviewer.
Respectful to all his guests and knows how to get personal without making them uncomfortable.
Marilyn opened up a lot, and more importantly, he didn't waste the whole time having to defend his work.
one of the most respectful interviews ive seen. i love mansons humour.
That was the best interview anyone has ever done with Marilyn Manson thank you sir for showing such respect Larry King
Marilyn does the best interviews. Everyone expects a character and they get a real person.
So I have CC on, apparently Manson is a golf icon 🤷🏼♀️ who knew.
Been a fan of Manson's since 1997. He really is like darkness and light at the same time. Shocked that he doesn't have any little ones running around yet.
I KNOW, RIGHT?! I want him to have kids so bad! I can see him having a little girl, even though he said he doesn't want a girl.
My Hero! Thank you, Marilyn, for being so honest and real! you've touched my 50-year-old Heart!
